I sat on one of the sofas in the living room, a mug of hot coffee in my hand, my gaze fixed on the glowing screen of the television. It was everywhere—every channel, every news outlet. The headlines followed the same pattern. “Calix Knight in Crisis,” “CEO’s wife scandal threatens BILLION-DOLLAR deal,” “Is Calix fit to lead?”

She cringed, the pain piercing through her temples and her belly twirling with queasiness. This was not happening. No! This could not be happening. Why? How? Alright, so this was a hangover. She whined, scraping her eyes shut and seeing stars explode across her brain. Oh, this was surely a hangover alright. Her first one. Unhurriedly, Grace opened her eyes to thin slits, peeking around the room. Okay, not her small bed. Absolutely not her bed. Not her room either. Alex placed his hand on the right part of his head and then ran his fingers in his hair. "My head will explode," he murmured. "The cook will prepare the Hangover soup for you. Go and freshen up," Stavros said as he patted his back. Alex opened his eyes finally and asked him about the last night. "You drank a lot," Stavros informed him. "And then I brought you home," he did not tell him everything. Alex got down from the bed and went inside the washroom. Oppositely, Stavros went to the kitchen to check the hangover soup.

Hangover Anna tossed on her bed for a while before convincing herself to sit up, immediately she sat up, a wave of headache hit her. She groaned and held her head in pain. The door opened and Lady Mary came in. "You are finally awake," she said. "I'll be back," she closed the door and went out, she returned a few minutes later with a cup of tea. "Here, it'll help your hangover," Lady Mary gave her and she accepted it after thanking her.

It's another day, the next day, famously titled the morning after. Hailey is sprawled in her bed, sleeping. During the early mornings of the day, at about seven pm, Hailey stirs in bed, her body coming awake with her. As she begins to regain her senses and consciousness, the first thing she realized was the painful and unbearable throbbing in her head. It was do terrible that she couldn't open her eyes for fear of how much worse it was going to get. She'd never been this hung over in ages, hell, she was rarely one to go about drinking to a stupor.

Aurorae reflexively nodded repeatedly. "Why am I in your room? As I recall, last night I went out drinking at a bar. After that I had a headache and..."
