Hana sighed but nodded as John loaded up her plate. “Besides, why would you want Silvercloud for a mate? Maybe our pup will be your mate,” Chuck winked at my daughter. “But he’s not even born. And might not even be a he,” Hana huffed as she started to eat her frustration. “Yes, well, he’s sure to be a better mate than Jonathan,” Chuck laughed.

He has been getting on my last nerve and I don't think I can condone him anymore but unfortunately for me he is going to be around more often than I desire. Hank questioned, his expression vicious. "Everything happened exactly as you predicted, sir! This bitch set up a trap for me!" Natalie's expression shifted. Finally, the true mastermind behind Hank showed up. A grating cackle rang out, and a short, hideous man emerged from the shadows. Half of his face looked like it had already rotted. It was a pretty gruesome sight. "Greetings, sir!" Hank said as he bowed to the man, who was only about three feet tall. "Who are you!" Natalie questioned.

“A doorway. Nothing more.” My breath catches. Because for the first time, I see it. This isn’t Brad. Not anymore. This is something else. Something wearing him. Something using him. Something that tricked me. My voice comes out small. “What… what are you?” He steps close enough that the shadows brush my skin like cold fingers. “I am the Hallow,” he whispers. “And you, Jason, are a pawn who mistook himself for a king.” My blood runs cold. Scarlett fell silent as she took in the man standing in front of her. He was shorter than she was, with a thinning hairline that had already started losing the fight. She wasn't exactly shallow, but what the hell was wrong with Malcolm's taste? Where had he even found this man? He was so short, he barely looked taller standing than she did sitting down.

However, Frederick wasn’t moved and kicked Harvey away. "You asked for it. You deserve what's coming for you," Frederick said coldly. Soon, Harvey was escorted away by law enforcers. "Dr. Faux…" Hank rubbed his hands together, and looked humbly at Frederick. It was a look that would shock anyone who knew him and saw it. Hank was a renowned individual in the field of education. Even in the Ministry of Education, he was a guest of honor among the executives. If he made a suggestion in the field of education, all the education professionals in the country would have to listen to him.

They melt in your mouth. Hank was pushing the things around his plate, without ever taking a bite. "Do they serve hamburgers here?" "Baby, try just this small piece. Mike is a tall fun guy with a weird mustache. He let it grow after watching Top Gun, in an attempt to make him look sexier. Well, it didn't work. Now he looked like somebody you don't want your kids to play with.

Hank's constant mockery was really starting to get on Francesca's nerves. Nonetheless, she still held back and did her best to explain. "Chief Armstrong, we've already explained this. This is the Grand Physician of Gabo Creek. He's here for the same reason you are, which is to help these patients." Malcolm had warned her that Hank came from a higher-level special unit. Hence, she should not offend him. Still, she could not stand that smug, condescending attitude. It was like everyone else in the room was beneath him.
