My apartment, the one Liam and I now share, fills with people. Harper, Marcus, Jordan, Evelyn. A few colleagues from the foundation. My therapist, Dr. Chen, who I invited on impulse and who surprisingly accepted.
"This is highly irregular," Dr. Chen says, accepting champagne. "But also therapeutic. Processing celebrations after the fact when you're emotionally ready for them. I might write a paper about this."
"Can you change my name in the paper?" I ask.
