“But…” Ethan was dumbfounded.
“That’s right, mom.” Riley chirped happily, "I don't want your honey muffins anymore. I’ll just take Aunt Celeste’s cheese cake. They are the best, and even better than the muffins!”
Aurora turned towards the child, her smile chilly, “That’s right, Riley.” She said, “You should only eat your Aunt Celeste’s food from now on. Don’t you ever call me for anything too, okay? After all, you chose Aunt Celeste to be your mommy, didn’t you?”
