Behind them, in the blue-white flicker of the hall lights, Raven is surrounded by Jax, who is looking at me like just breathing is a sin, and Harold, who looks at me like he’s waiting to see if I’ll gnaw my own foot off.

He wasn’t sure since he had never experienced it. “Love,” Harley repeated. “I can’t think of any other reason she’d face off against you when you were feral. Hell, you scared me and I’m not a weak little human.” Moon frowned, distracted. His finger probed the spot again. On the next day, early in the morning, the truck in front of the Martial Hall was finally towed away. Dillon Lee found a few renovation companies to immediately clean up the mess, hoping the Martial Hall would be up for business again. Harvey York had been standing sleepless inside the Martial Hall for an entire day. He did not like killing, but he knew full well that he could not hold back any longer when someone kept pushing his limits.
