If you’re here solely for the steamy scenes, then you're gonna have to wait till chapter 25. If you're seeking action and chaos, there are glimpses of it early on, but the real storm breaks in Chapter 19. After Chapter 1, the story progresses to 9 years later. If you're too impatient and want to understand what happened during that time, jump ahead to Chapters 7 and 8—they fill in the blanks. These are just a few things I felt might frustrate some readers, so I wanted to be upfront. That said, if you’ve made it this far and you're still interested? I love you!

Even if the best case scenario was I remain the same, at least I might be able to center myself long enough to not have my magic explode out of me like some kind of cannon. I don't need to read through twenty pages of some author—whose more than likely dead by now—droning on about the importance of magic balance and blah blah. Flipping to somewhere in the middle,I immediately saw a diagram of a pentagram. "Ohhh…" I mumble to myself and trace my finger over it.
