Marrying the Richest Man After My Break Up

Marrying the Richest Man After My Break Up

Lydia joined in and screeched, “Don’t think you can scare us just because you found someone to defend you, North! Just you wait!” The man’s expression remained neutral. “I’m Mr. South. If you two really want to know who I am, you can ask Eiger.” Horace’s insults suddenly got stuck in his throat. The man calmly looked at the store manager and said, “Get them out of here.” The manager nodded respectfully. “Of course, Mr. South.” North raised an eyebrow. Mr. South? If he could order the store manager around, did that mean he was a South? The man did not look at her until after Horace and Lydia got kicked out of the square. “They won’t be bothering you for some time.”

why is side characters are so stupid, while the rivals is so thick skinned to the point i feel like they are idiot. they keep thinking they can bully North despite Gerald backing (look at Cynthia). also Gabriel is same stupid. why he keep backing Reina eventho he know that she is not related?

The Mafia Man

“You're funny angle rally funny. “Let’s get down to business shall we?” “If we must.” His smile faded. “You know if you were mine I’d make that sas disappear.” “Well lucky for me I’m not.” He got closer talking into my ear. “That cold be arranged.” I shuddered. I don’t think so. He smirked. “So I’d like you to tell me a little about my brother.” “He was an asshoel just like you.” I smirked. “Really, how’s that so?” “He thought he was intimidating but he wasn’t. He thought he was something but he wasn’t . He hung around with the Hemings to give him more popularity but it just clearly made everyone around him scared of him.”

Claiming Mr. Mafia [ Book 2 ]

Claiming Mr. Mafia [ Book 2 ]

"And why are you selling him?" It made the man unable to answer as soon as he could, but in the end, he spoke up. "It was because I didn't want to be on his team anymore. I entered the Vile Mafia longer than he did, but now I am under his. He robbed me of the position that was supposed to be mine. Since the Vile Mafia is already coming down, then it might be better to change my life." He smiled. "I wanted to have a normal life."

The Fall Of A Made Man (Book 1 Of The Fallen Gods Series)

The Fall Of A Made Man (Book 1 Of The Fallen Gods Series)

AVA’S POV It made me wonder if this man ever smiles or had a reason to in his life. “I live with a man who had businesses with dangerous underworld bosses and you expect me not to know how to curse?” A dry chuckle rumbled out of my chest. I was seriously out of my mind. After everything that has happened, it wouldn’t be normal if I didn’t lose my mind. “You’re too innocent to curse..” Vincenzo walked past his brother and me, heading to the entrance door, his phone in his left hand.

Cinderella My Ass

Cinderella My Ass

He handed the books he had chosen to the young worker and stuffed his hands in the pocket of his hoodie. "'The SAS Survival Handbook?' and '2020 Standard Catalog of Firearms'?..." The worker raised her brows at the young man in front of her, the corner of her lips twitching unconsciously, as she used this opportunity to look at his handsome face. "Your taste is still as random as always." This guy would either wander around the bookstore just looking around, or buy the most random craziest books ever. She remembers the first time she saw him buying books here, the titles of those being "Demons: The Devil, Possession & Exorcism" and "Poisonous Plants". The poor girl wasn't sure if this guy wa

He narrowed him eyes at Lucy, asking the man to speak quickly before he threw him away. "A group of rebels are starting to surround the south. I don't know where they came from. But, it looks like they want to seize your territory there," said Lucy informed. "South?" repeated Stev. And Lucy quickly nodded. "Send Smith and the others over there, don't let them touch the southern mansion, or I'll behead them if the rebels get there," said Stev. The man grit his teeth with the emotion he was holding back. "Do you want to go there?" asked Lucy. The man knows that the southern mansion is of great value to Stev. However, Lucy didn't think Stev needed to bother himself to get there. Lucy thought th

The Man He Used To be

The Man He Used To be

She's looking for a new book to buy. "Sorry, miss. I didn't mean to-" "Look where you're going, dumbass! Damn poor people! No brains, no manners, and definitely no bath!" She said, insulting the guy. "Hey, that's enough. He said sorry already. You don't have to be rude." A woman passing by stopped in front of them and spoke for the guy. "Yeah, right. Keep walking. You're going to be late for your awful, low-paying job." Ava responded full of confidence.

A Man Already Gone

A Man Already Gone

The lights were dim, and a man walked in. He went straight for Harriet. "You must be Harriet. Oh, he was right… You are pretty." As he spoke, he reached out and grabbed her wrist. The bottle Harriet was holding clattered to the floor as she struggled weakly, her voice filled with fear. "What are you doing? Let go! Somebody, help!" The man quickly overpowered her, and with a few rough pulls, he lifted her by the waist and marched toward the bedroom. The door slammed shut with a loud bang.

Bride Of The Beast

Bride Of The Beast

"We have to use oil on the book covers to keep them from falling apart." "Oil. Right," Devon said. He walked over to a shelf and pulled out a small book with a blue cover. He held it out to me. "Here. This is a Southern poem. I found it in a box last year. Since you're so far from home, maybe you'd like to read a bit of it for me? It’s been ages since I’ve heard a Southern accent." I stared at the book. My hands started to sweat. If I read out loud for too long, my voice would crack. I would lose the high pitch.
