The old man, who was none other than his father, seemed to be holding back his anger. "FELIX!" The king shouted loudly after that, calling out to someone who immediately appeared next to him. An old man with jet black hair and carrying a tube filled with green liquid in his hand. Kevin frowned, staring intently at the tube filled with liquid. "Who are you?! What are you carrying?!" Kevin asked, staring intently at the man who was now standing next to his father. "Respect to His Highness Prince Kevin. I am Felix, the greatest potions wizard in this kingdom." Felix bowed respectfully while introducing himself.

He promised me that no one would disturb me here since apparently, the vampires don't really like reading books, and then he left me to myself after that. I have read three books since he left which kept me distracted from longing for Domenic. I wonder what he is doing right now and I am literally dying to feel his touch again, but I kept calm and waited. Eventually he will come to me. I finished my third book that morning and climbed up a ladder to find another. One book caught my eyes. It was hidden between piles of other books. The cover was dark brown and screams of age. I picked up the book and blew out the dust from it's surface. The cover reads 'Legend of the gods."

Eleanor’s POV My heart skipped a beat as I spotted a book bound in black leather. Gold letters on the cover proudly declared its title: "Mastery of Magic." A shiver ran down my spine as I opened it, scanning its pages for any guidance on the powers that had both blessed and troubled me. There, written in simple and clear words, was a guide on how to control the very magic that now felt like a wild force within me. A surge of hope filled my heart. This book might be the key to mastering my gifts, to unlocking the secrets of my magic and understanding my past.

I press my hand against my forehead, beginning to pace, even with my knee protesting as it does. When I look back at the Prince, he’s watching me with a calm expression, although his eyes suggest otherwise. They are ablaze with unreadable emotion, his full lips settled in a line. "My name is Hale,” he murmurs. He doesn’t offer his hand, and he doesn’t need to, because there is no way I would dare touch a pureblood. Even if his skin does look perfectly unflawed and temptingly…I shake my head. What am I thinking?

Author's pov When Dante was first informed of the prince's visits to his pack, he felt insulted as to why someone he regarded as a child was here. But seated before Harry with their gaze locked, Dante could see something in his eyes, it was power. This prince was not just a child; there was darkness inside of him that was longing for power. Harry crossed his legs, a smirk curled through his lips before he spoke. “I want you to help me take out my brother!” He blurted out the words so freely, there was not even a hint of emotion in his eyes as he did.

I tell him. "The birthplace of magic? The book never mentioned that. Though that would explain the Fae's ability to grant others magic through deals," he says. "If you're looking for more information on the world tree I have other books you can read," I say. "Well then after I finish this one you'll have to show me the others," he responds. "Gladly," I laugh.

Shawn looked over at her suspiciously and asked, “You know what he wants from me?” “We are well aware of the prince’s needs,” Mrs Wright said with a slight smile on her face. “It is not normal, he is a prince and yet chooses to do this?” Shawn questioned. “You will have to speak to the prince to get your answer, my Lord,” Mrs Wright answered avoiding the topic. One of the servants walked in and curtsied to Shawn who just looked at her. She whispered into Mrs Wright’s ear. Mrs Write nodded her head and watched the servant as she disappeared then looked at Shawn and said, “Prince Aldridge’s gift for you has arrived and is waiting in your chamber.”

The sun was out, and the weather was beautiful. A contrast to the storm brewing inside the house. I signed and leaned against Mum’s grave as I continued reading Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince since it had been one of her favourite books when she was alive. I hadn’t been a big fan of books and only read because of Mom. I read about seven chapters before I got tired, so I closed the book and lay down on the well-trimmed grass beside her grave. Weird, I know but it always calmed me down to be this close to her.

I said to him in walking around his room, I turned my head to him in waiting for an answer and he quickly shook his head from one side to another. So he hadn't any family members. But from disgust smell, I smelled something else. He had drugs there, he kept them in a book. I went by the bookshelf and took the third book. "Harry Poter? Are you for real?" He kept in a children's tale drugs. Pages were cut in the middle of a book and placed drugs instead. He paled from my question maybe he was afraid that I liked his book and he destroyed what I like. No, I didn't like this nonsense, but... I shook my head in thinking drop it, Jack.
