H U N T E R J O N E S I was reading the second Harry Potter book while leaning against the wall in the alley with Ty on my side. I knew Mey had asked me to read the Goblet of Fire to figure out the three unforgivable curses, but after picking the book randomly, I felt that I owed it to the author to read it from the first book. So I had picked up Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone from the library yesterday, finished the book in seven hours, and had it returned this morning. When I had returned the first one, I immediately borrowed the second one: Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets which was the book I was reading right now.

Dawn remarked when she wandered into the room one day after class to see the first Harry Potter book in the brunette’s hands. “Hadn’t had time to finish it”, Lena said. She set her book aside and picked up Goblet of Fire “I’ve marked the page you were on”, she told Dawn as she held it out to her. The teen smiled, took the book from Lena and relaxed onto her bed to start reading. Lena picked up where she left off in the novel. ~0~

It was coated in a thick layer of that tar-like substance.

Once we were seated, Haron was the one who started talking. “Alice, I presume your name is. First, let me tell you what happened to you and in what circumstances Aaron had to mark you.” He started. The calm smile on his face soothed my bundled nerves a bit as I found myself nodding. Aaron didn’t look up once we were sitting face to face. “Do you know about dark magic?” Haaron asked. It made me nervous again but I nodded nevertheless. I had done my homework on vampires and their history while staying here. Fortunately, I didn’t mind reading thick books and the huge library in this palace didn’t lack them.

I said looking at the princess, she smiled and nodded putting a hand on mine, squeezing it in assurance. “With you by her side, she can get over and out of anything, you of all people should believe in that” Celine smiled before removing her hand, I smiled and nodded at her as Sebastian walked out of the house holding a small bottle with purple liquid inside it, he handed it to me and I frowned in confusion.

High praise indeed.” When we finish, I go to my room and shower, bypassing breakfast with Ailduin, Anastasia and Buppig. While my stomach is grumbling with hunger, I ignore it and head straight to the library, getting the Book of Prophecies off the shelf and sitting at a table to begin reading. When I sit, I run my hand over the book cover. The top left quarter of it is no longer glowing brightly. It’s gone from a shiny gold color to that of iron, making it stand out on the cover.
