"Lily," Effie came by with worry on her face and, to my astonishment, sat next to me. "Are you alright?"

Something in my gut screamed danger. “Why?” I was wary of him. And since I didn't have any scheduled visit, my paranoia worsened.

I looked up on hearing a voice There stood a boy with hazel eyes and brown hair staring at me. In his hand was a small sword which he was pointing at me My teary red eyes met his hazel ones which were staring at me with anger. "I......I............mama..............sh.......she....................." I couldn't form a word with his angry eyes staring at me and that sharp sword pointing at me. He pulled down his sword and took dangerous steps towards me. I backed up only to press myself more against the bark . "Pl....ease.......... Don't............................kill............"

Neither of them knew it then, but that tiny, hidden act of kindness would one day shake the very foundations of the heavens. End of Chapter 2.
