AURORA’S POV I couldn’t have imagined such a death even in my darkest fantasy; suspended in the air, surrounded by candles with weird fragrance. My death meant the return of someone very evil. It also meant the death of my little girl. I tried to use my magic but it was all in vain. My body was drained of all strength. Despair had taken root in my heart and had grown like Cuscuta engulfing my heart; draining it of the tiniest bit of hope that was left.

She turned her head to Harry and said, "How does your best friend make seriously complex things sound so easy?" He shrugged. "It's a long story." "Well, I'd like to hear it." Anderson flagged his hand at them. "Hello! I'm still here, remember?" They both ignored him, while Harry continued. "Many years ago, he was bitten by this superintelligent creature from outer space. Then his whole dumb ass brain changed into one as the creature's. Then he began to invent things man has never seen. Behold- captain underpant!" So what happens when I turn 16 years old, and run away from my problems to another world, only to find myself in the same magical world I played make belief in as a kid? With heartbreak at every turn, and a possible new relationship on the horizon, what could possibly go wrong in this world that hasn't happened to me on Earth?!

MAEVE'S POV I woke up too early…way before dawn, my heart still racing from dreams I couldn't quite escape. The image of my parents from the Mad Mage's cottage haunted me. I could see their peaceful faces as they drifted away, the way they'd looked so real, so alive. Even knowing it was just a cruel trick of magic, I couldn't get past it. Since it was obvious sleep was clearly not going to happen again, I decided to explore. If I were going to be living in luxury for the next few days, I might as well see what the Crown tier had to offer.
