I tried to lighten my mood with a joke. “Yeah, something like that.” Hana chuckled. “So Isak is an angel, and Harris and some of the guys at DKE are nephilim. Aidan is a demon, an incubus demon, to be exact. There are three kinds of demons...” Hana started to explain. “Wait. Incubus? Like the masculine succubus? McFingers is a sex demon?” I asked.

Elyse said with a small voice. "He's the what?" I asked in disbelief. The food that I was cooking was completely forgotten and Anna and Fay had turned around to face Elyse. Fay threw her book over the couch and stood up to watch over Elyse's shoulder at the screen. "He's not just the king of demons, it seems.. It says here he is the demon of lust." Fay read out with narrowed eyes. "The demon of lust?" Anna intercepted with interest. "Yeah, it says here that there are 7 sins. They're like... brothers." Elyse added in.

He grabs the creature by its neck, lifting it entirely off its feet. From the doorway of the grand hall, two other demons appear, instantly bowing on one knee before Helion. “Forgive our intrusion, Your majesty. We only wanted to see the being who could break your curse,” the say in unison. “You do not get to see her or touch a single strand of hair on her head,” Helion says, his voice is barely recognizable, laced with a terrifying, demonic venom. “If any of you tries anything stupid, I’ll show you exactly why the devil himself is afraid of me.”

Another swooped—he drove his blade through her heart, but not before her talons raked his back, leaving gashes that poured blood. A harpy with long ginger hair and a jewelled tiara pointed at him. “I want this one. Bring him to me!” Darius’s throat went dry. The last thing he wanted was to be reduced to a breeding stock for these monsters. His demon side surged forward, desperate to be released—and he let it free, buring three harpies. But instead of fear, the harpie's leader eyes glimmered with lust. More and more of her flock swarmed toward him.

Although they don't look like ordinary people with different hair colors, eyes, and species, except for Camila, I'm not afraid of them. I'm having a good time chatting with them, and I learned much about who they are. Saye, Arlo, and Jippis are demons. I thought demons were scary and ugly looking, red with horns, and had a snake-like tongue, always red and surrounded by fire to represent hell that wants to eat your soul. You always see them on Halloween posters or costumes; Saye, Arlo, and Jippis don't look like that. They don't look scary at all. I feel like they came out of a comic book, like a superhero.

"How—? What—" "It's a portal," He says in his usual bored drawl, it snaps out of my stupor. "I got that. I mean how did one just appear in front of us." Wrath rolls his eyes and walks on. I had to jog to catch up with his long strides. "I'm a demon, Dovey. If I have to say it a third time we're going to have a problem." "We already had a problem when you kidnapped me," I bit out. He eyed me from the corner of his eyes, his lips curling up in an amused smirk but he didn't say anything. Good. Because if he did, I was going to punch him in the throat. Demon or not.

Perhaps him remembering her was just a small piece of a jigsaw puzzle that would help her achieve her main goal. What was her goal you ask? “You frown a lot more than Starvos, I’m afraid you will look older than him in a mere week,” Mona’s voice dropped in as Dominic lifted his face to find the older sorcerers. “Isn’t that a way for me to become a demon?” Dominic looked straight right into Mona’s eyes when he asked the question, startling her who didn’t expect the boy would ask such a horrendous question right in this beautiful afternoon! “You silly! Of course you shouldn’t! Only beings who are cursed by god can go to Hell. They are called demons, they are evil entities!”

Voldemort yelled, blood gushing freely from of his mouth while Summer in her demonic form hovered above him. She has just defeated him with a single blow. "Nooo, I can't be defeated, not this easily!" Voldemort yelled enlarging in his demon size, his clothes tore during the transformation as he turned into a terrifying beast. Horns grew from his head, his claws and fangs became longer and sharper while his eyes took a red shade as he was covered in an evil black smoke. He had transformed into a mighteous beast as he stared at Summer whose eyes now took the shade of two colors.

After that day, Demon worked on learning as much as he could about reading, writing, math, adulting, and the world he now found himself living in. Smiling as he and Leo walked to the lake and waterfall, he thought when Hades called him home to kill him for disobeying, he would die happy. He got to live in the light. The only light most demons experience is the light they steal from others. Demon continued to smile as he and Leo were baiting their fishing rods. Leo was chattering the entire time, "Oh, Demon, guess what? Mama and Gammy finally found that spell they were telling you about. The one that will keep everybody clean because it will stop that stuff from oozing off you." He was jumpin

"Human... how are you..." Lucien Desrosiers, the Demon King of the dark court, took one stunned step back. The noise behind him died at once.
