Harry Potter Fanfiction Harry Invokes Family Magic Novels & Stories

“We originate and carry Owens blood. The Owens are the first of the witches. We started with warlock Joshua who married a woman with magic in her but wasn’t a witch at the time. Their children were all powerful, their spells of banishment and healing are the most potent. Some witches in our family have been said to not need spells or potions just naturally occurring magics.” Freda stands putting her hands out for Ivy to take them. Her eyes linger on Ivy genuine and warm. “Be not afraid of the power with in.” Freda speaks softly. Ivy shook her head and ran to the stairs and climbed down rushing to the living room to find her dad had passed out. “Dad? Wake up. Dad. Das please we need to go.” I

’ Confusion crosses Shappa’s face as he glances down at our still crying daughter. My eyes flash purple as I begin to chant a spell that I had hoped I would never have to use. Magic pours into me from all around, seeping from the earth, the wolves, and even from my Father. When the magic fills me completely to bursting, I lift my hand in Shappa’s direction, my heart breaking as I go to send them far away from my Father.

Didn’t he die? “Dad!” Xavier says. “Why won’t it open?” He growls as he pulls the doorknob. I glance down at the knob and realize there’s a spell radiating from it. It’s grandma’s magic. “Let me try.” He steps back, allowing me access to the door. It would be harder to break than pass through it. “Come with me,” I say, taking his hands and covering him in my magic, then passing through the door. GRRRRRRRRR

The two of us stared up at the ceiling, lost in the darkness that seemed to shift and change shape, cloaking us both from the horror story that were our lives. “My father’s ability is Cryokinesis. His magic lets him manipulate temperatures to one extreme or another. My mother’s skilled with Astral Projection. My younger sister took after her. In fact, she’s probably surpassed her at this point. Somewhere down the family line, there was a distant relative with the ability to tell if someone was lying. It disappeared for awhile, but not for long. My mother is kind. She never wanted to send me here, but in our house my father holds the final word. His decision had been made the second my little

“The whole academy knows about it by now. I didn’t think anyone would want me on their team.” Her smile slipped. The air shifted. For a few seconds, she said nothing, just stared at me, unreadable, her green eyes catching the lamplight. Then, finally, she sighed. “I know,” she said softly. “I know what’s being said. And I also know the Enforcement Division’s reports. They showed that the magic left at the scene… was my family’s magic.” The words hit heavier than I expected. She wasn’t whispering it like a secret. She wasn’t dodging it either. Just saying it, right there, like truth tossed onto the table.

The idea of finding her through magic ignited a spark of hope within me. My mom reached for her necklace, unclasping a delicate charm. It glimmered in the soft light, radiating a mysterious energy. She held it out to me, her eyes filled with determination. "Take this charm, my love," she said, her voice steady. "We'll need it for the spell. Now, repeat after me." Together, we chanted the ancient incantations, our voices blending in harmony. The room seemed to hum with an otherworldly energy as we delved deeper into the spell. My mom's eyes turned a milky white, a sign that she had entered a trance-like state.

“You don’t belong in this family anymore.” He bellowed, taking a rune-charged swing for my heart. My hands met his in midair, wrenching his arm backwards, breaking his spell like glass. Then I unleashed mine. Threads of silver and blue slashed the air between us, forming sigils older than his casting yet cleaner. My mother’s magic hummed through my own as I spoke the last incantation, not out of anger but of release. “Divortium Sanguis.” Time stopped.

I will have to take advantage of the little time of well-being that I have left. Elizabeth clears her throat and tells me, “Well, like I was saying, premonitions are part of your birthright. Your mother had other talents and was very good. Perceiving time differently, that’s why. You have to learn to channel it. Now, when you awaken your magic, Harry knows exactly where you are.” I frown and tell her, “And by extension, he also now knows where you are.” “He won’t know if we put a blocking spell on the house.” I turn to see the person behind the singing voice. I see she is a young woman of about twenty-three years old, red hair, with big green eyes.

Still, some of the kids who laughed at that little girl were not interested in that information because they already knew it. For example, Alexander was familiar with the use of the magic wand at the age of 5. His parents came from one of the richest families of wizards. They did their best to make sure their son would become an elite student. It was a tradition in Soimesti family to be winners, to be the best. It was a tradition of theirs too, not to consider the means or the path chosen to get there, the results were important… to be the best. Anyway, that does not mean he did not look forward to using his wand from his father at that lesson. After a couple of minutes, Mr. Knudlac approach

he said while crying and hugging the girl's lifeless body. In his fury, the red moon was suddenly covered with dark clouds and heavy rain poured down "I curse!!!, in the name of my child... I curse the new phoenix! that every passing of a hundred years your body will burn with fire as a sign of my wrath and be reborn from your own ashes!!. And I swear that your eternal life will be one of pain until you beg for your death." The sorcerer's anger brought a terrible deluge across the land. His vengeful heart ended the lives of Cyrus' entire family and the citizens of Agnarr in just that night.
