I get under his covers, grabbing the book on his night table. Harry Potter, an interesting pick for him. I open it up to the first page, starting the book over again for the hundredth time. Daniel’s shower is quick, yet I find myself struggling to keep my eyes open. It’s only 10:00 but I hardly got any sleep last night. I know Daniel didn’t either.

“Everything Ally and I know about the curse and the prophecy is in these books. All that we’ve seen, as chaotic as it is, is in these books. And before you ask, you can’t read them.” “My brain would probably explode if I read both of those books.” I shook my head, not at all interested in either one of them.
