Standing under the stone steps, Philip was so shocked by the black stone door that he was unable to avert his gaze. “That’s the stargate,” Marquis Fulmore said as he looked up at the huge stone door. In Philip’s eyes, bright rays of light that seemed like they wanted to break free slipped through the cracks of the stargate. The patterns on the door started wiggling and morphed into a projection that came alive in Philip’s eyes. It was a shocking battlefield with blood everywhere. Extraterrestrial beasts filled the sky, and there were bones on the ground as well as collapsed cities.

Hogwart, just shy of fifty, welcomed the future Laird of Coinnich into his home like he had done many times before. “What’s up with the dog, Celeste?” Hera asked as she accepted the water Celeste offered. “He trampled my tomatoes, that’s what! I had one this big.” She gestured with her hands to show the size. “It was just about to turn red.” “How did he even get into your garden?” Hera noticed the small fence around her precious veggies when she walked in. “The gate was open while I was tending to the plants. That mangy mutt just waltzed in like he owned the place and made a total mess. Hogwart really needs to take better care of his dog.”

I said, and I saw how his face froze and he stared down at me with a wicked glint in his eyes. “Cute?” He asked, placing me down on the chair. 'Oops, did I say something wrong?’ I thought and saw how his face came dangerously close to mine again, and then he whispered in a husky voice, “If you stare at me with those deer-caught-in-headlights look again, I will forget about breakfast and you being hungry and send you up there, and...” He left his words hanging, gazing at me with those piercing eyes, and nodded towards the bedroom door, and then he cleared his throat and added, “I'll let you fill in the missing gap with your wildest imaginations.”

Was it Harry Potter going on live in front of me? My mouth was wide open while my eyes opened big like balls. He entered the room with me trailing behind. The room is pitch dark. I couldn't decipher a thing. All of a sudden, lights emerged from a point coming straight to my eyes. I covered my eyes with my hands and peeked through the gaps in between my fingers. Lights were emitting from a big round circle that was formed in the air. It's enchanting. The vibrant colors spread everywhere. Erix pulled me closer and picked me up in his arms and entered the portal.

The air inside the Great Hall was thick enough to choke on. It didn't just smell like ozone; it tasted like the end of the world. High above, the Star-Gate whirled like a hungry mouth, its white and gold light casting long, distorted shadows across the silver floor. I looked at Sarah. My little sister. The girl I had protected from the darkness of our father’s shadow for years, only for her to be turned into a puppet for a man who didn't even see her as human.

The alpha growled loudly, “I don't care about your motivations, only your actions!” “Be on alert…” I whispered, feeling the warmth of his body. I sighed as he approached, brushing his lips. Furthermore, I closed my eyes, missing him. Furthermore, I opened my eyes, looking at him and sensing his reluctance. His eyes were different and clearer, indicating there was something he wanted to say despite his resistance. A bang echoed behind me. I turned my head, finding Harry invading the room and breaking the spell, with Agatha smiling by his side. I think I shared the vision because Harvey smiled.

Each drop made me flinch, worried about its proximity to Kane and Nera. "Stay close," I told Adam and Kane. I hesitated for a moment, then reached out to touch Kane's naked flesh. The burning sensation was still there, but less intense. Maybe the effects were wearing off? "Or perhaps it is wishful thinking," Sage muttered, finally piping up. As we approached the portal, the ground gave a violent shudder. A massive crack split the floor between us and the gateway. "Jump!" Astaroth yelled, leaping effortlessly across the gap.

Orion snorted, sending a spray of toothpaste into his beard. "Harriet, what kind of half-baked remark was that?" I shot her a dirty look. Harriet was losing her touch, if that's all she could come up with as an amusing comment. "You know, in Harry Potter, Harry could hear the snake moving around in the pipes." Harriet shook her head as she crossed her arms defensively. "I could hear you through the pipes. You guys were so loud I couldn't hear the echo of my own moans." I hopped to my feet and waddled over to the couch. I placed the back of my hand on Harriet's forehead. "No, you don't have a fever. Harriet, honey, I think that's the stupidest thing I have ever heard you say."
