The three vampires gasped as Harry drove his heel into the heart he had ripped out before breaking the intruder's neck. Emmanuelle watched in horror as the organ burned away without a trace. Harry did not leave them any more of the glance and glared at them openly. The presence of his soul mate by his side had brought him back to calm, but the metamorphosis had alerted his senses. In his mind's eye, he could see Till baring his fangs, demanding that the two vampires in front of them be put to death for daring to insult their soul mate. Harry put a protective arm around Emmanuelle's shoulders. Then he gave a sarcastic smile to the two remaining vampires.
