The royal family demanded respect and that was exactly what they gave her. Halfway toward the dungeon, we noticed movement not far from us. Just within the trees surrounding the garden on this side. Various guards were yelling. Screaming for people to stop. On instinct, I pulled Farren close to me. Held her behind me. A large figure broke from the trees. Sped toward us until he shifted into his wolf form. Seeing Lysander, Farren broke free from me. She sprinted towards him. Her dress tangled beneath her feet. She stumbled. Lysander was there. Followed by two unknown wolves. One of darkest black and the other of the whitest white. Zaven and Kallik.
