The Pensive Gentleman
This time I take a seat at the edge of her bed, now very interested in everything I'm seeing.
Her school books hold nothing of any importance, except school things, her laptop is locked, and I have no access to it. Kissing my teeth, I get up.
I make my way to leave when the pink book catches my attention. It's old, but has been laminated to preserve the color, or maybe the strength? I'm not sure but I lean over and grab it.
There are unintelligible doodles written in them. I'm sure they're supposed to be words, but they're peculiarly stacked together in such a way that only the writer can decipher them.
