Death Notice

Death Notice

“Ah!” “Ah!” A shrill and ear-piercing scream came out from Adalind’s throat. At this time, her left eye had already become a pitch-black hole. A few drops of blood flowed out from the hole and slowly slid down her face. She looked like a malicious spirit that crawled out from a horror movie! “F*ck! That’s too scary! Quickly send some bullet screens to cover her!” “I fell off my chair from the fright! She really looks like a female ghost!”

Revenge Of The Forgotten Luna

Revenge Of The Forgotten Luna

“She didn’t want her life to be recorded. She thought it a human essential, not for beings like us. The technology didn’t sit well with her. Even with all my affluence, I could only mount cameras outside the home. I had to honor her wish, somehow. “Our lives seemed perfect without it, until the demon came, lured her from the comfort of where she calls home, and took her life in split seconds…” I could feel the agonizing vibration of his tone; his nerves throbbed up and down with every word. He loved Adeline, no doubts. He still is. A cold creeping dread seeped into my bones at the thought of how much he still loves Adeline. What if he never stops? I could feel a rumbling sound trying to esca

The Lycan King's Healer Luna

The Lycan King's Healer Luna

I only knew it, the same as I'd known with the dying wolf in the woods. "Let me try," I heard myself say. The old Healer coughed from the floor, clutching his ribs. "Try? Girl, I have forty years in the craft and I couldn't hold him. You'll be dead before you reach the middle of the room." But Adeline was in the doorway now, both hands pressed white against her mouth, and her eyes were only on her son. Whatever else that woman was, the terror on her face was real. "Let her try," she whispered. "Please. Let her."

Taken (#2 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

Taken (#2 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

A spitting image of herself. A spitting image of Adeline. So the following began again. The 1989 Adeline kept on looking behind her just like the other one. Maybe they knew he was following them. After all, he wasn’t in his spirit form. His physical body was there with him. The 2018 Adeline was in her spirit form so there was no way for the 1989 Adeline could see her.

Haunted

Haunted

Her conscience sensed something dangerous about to happen. Everybody in the house had gone to watch a movie in the theatre. Alexander had gone to meet his friends. Amara was alone in the enormous palace. She stared at Princess Veronica's picture. "Is the monster still buried in the sepulchre? It is too long a time....three hundred years. Does he still stay there without using his evil powers? He shouldn't ever come out. But what if he does?" Amara mutters her anxious words standing before the princes's picture.

Call of Destiny

Call of Destiny

he pulled back from the hug and sitting beside Leona pulling a chair, he said, “Let me show you how good am I in painting…what are you..” Adrian turned at the canvas and as he did, he frowned and furrowed his eyebrows! He bent over the canvas, looking intensely at the picture painted half on the canvas, while narrowing his eyes! Is he hallucinating or did the gown of the woman just blow with the wind?? He extended one of his hands shakily and slowly touched the woman in the picture who looked like Emily and he as his finger touched the canvas he felt a jolt of electricity and also clearly heard the sound of laughter and voices…

Fated to the Beast

Fated to the Beast

She realized Rain didn't come with Jace Dauntess but four other men she had just met. Adaline's house looked unchanged from the last time. Rain saw her. A crystal ball and the same tarot cards lie on the table. There are also several paintings on display in the woman's living room. Rain's fingers itched to touch some of the paintings. She wanted to check it out and inscribe the runes to see what was hidden inside. Adaline sat gratefully in the armchair. She also offered tea and some biscuits like she had provided Rain and Jace when they came there. Adaline looked at the three Hardy brothers as well as Benjamin.

HAUNTING EMILY

HAUNTING EMILY

She dropped the tray of pancakes on the table. “Thank you, Steph. You sure know I am very hungry.” I sat down on my chair, taking a pancake with my hand, and devouring it in a second. Stephanie walked towards the wall where I arranged the photos of my suspects, and criminal cases pending to solve. She stood still for a while, as if trying to figure out what she was staring at. She's only fifteen, I bet she won't understand a thing. “Wow!” She exclaimed, pointing at a picture. I traced the direction she was pointing at, only to see that it was Matteo.

Ruthless Vows: The Billionaire Revenge

Ruthless Vows: The Billionaire Revenge

“I’ll keep watch.” She didn’t argue. This became a task she had to do on her very own. The front door made a noise as she pushed it open. Dust was in the air. The floors groaned beneath her feet. Faded paintings lined the walls—faces long dead. Her mother’s face appeared in one of them. Young, smiling, full of hope. Celeste stopped and stared. A name was scribbled beneath the frame: Adeline. She moved deeper inside. The living room was untouched, like time iced over here.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

Before she could reach David, he suddenly lifted his cane and poked it into her chest. "You wretch!" Adeline cried out in pain, immediately clutching the area where David had just struck her. With a grunt, she knelt before David. She looked at David sorrowfully, overwhelmed by his chilling aura. Her swollen face made her look even uglier, and the dried bloodstains at the corner of her lips highlighted the sinister horror of her face. Yet, her eyes radiated with a stubborn viciousness.

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.
