Novel & Cerita Haunting Adeline Playlist

Benny climbs onto the couch sitting in between us, “Did you get the songs down?” I nod, “Yep, and I got the duets down and The Pretty Reckless. The lead singer has this whole Joan Jett thing going on, which you know I love.” “You did listen to the rest of the playlist…. Didn’t you?” he asks wearily. He knows I only do a couple of tunes with them and go back to work, but sometimes I stay, which pisses him off when I haven’t gotten the songs down. “Yes, don’t worry, I got it and thank you for adding Juliette and The Licks to the list” I wink at him so he’ll relax, “Aside from that, have you heard of Halestorm’s - white dress?”

Stefano explained. “He took your wife. Why?” “I turned Adeline into a daemon. That means my blood runs in her veins. So, she is half-Angel and half-Daemon. She might not be as powerful as I am, but her blood could give Angel of Death enhancement in many aspects.” the High Lord answered. He flipped the same book. “And, I know she’s alive all along.” “Whoa, what are you talking about? You know Adeline is alive all these times?” Clavier stopped him from explaining further. “So this whole time, you know she’s alive?”

she said in a hoarse whisper and started to suck on his neck. Damien could feel himself slowly losing control. This isn't good. She was high, and he was not. He should stop her. "Damien," Adeline took his hand and placed it under her shirt, urging him to grab her breast. "Fuck me. Please, Damien, I can't take it anymore. I'll be better than all of your hoes. You'll see. I want to be your only hoe. Don't you want me?" she pouted. "My body is burning. Do something, make me feel good," she croaked out.

I plug my ear phone and pretend not to hear them. “Sing with us Harold!” and they are now singing so loud that even if my iPod is at its highest tune I can still hear them. I guess I fell asleep in anger of their song, the last thing I heard is a scream and as I try to open my eyes, a blinding light were covering us. I am trying to keep my eyes on focus as it gets clearer I could see a face of a woman. With deep blue eyes and a rosy white face, her lips were like cherry and she shine so bright then I lose sight. The next time I open my eyes I was in the hospital.

And strangely, I didn’t feel any attraction towards her. I wasn’t sure if it had faded over time since it was a stupid infatuation or if was it replaced by someone more…important? I walked out of the manor and found the ‘more important.’ Adeline stood before the birds with a bowl of grain in her hand, and she fed them. The birds seemed to be flocking around her as if she was snow white. Her lips moved as she looked at one of them. Was she talking to them? I moved closer to listen in.

"What do you guys want to listen to?" "Adele," I said immediately. "Easy On Me." It was my go-to these days, a song that seemed to understand my soul. I could already hear the piano notes in my head, the emotion in Adele’s voice. But before Sebastian could pull it up, Ava cut in. "Actually," she said, tilting her head thoughtfully, "can we play something more… I don’t know, pregnancy-themed? Like lullabies or soothing music for the baby?"

Being next to him made me feel that way—the pleasant shiver down my spine, my stomach turning. "Let's start by listening to Adele then," Apollo got up from the bed, began removing his suit, and grabbed his phone. "Which album?" "Hm..." I started taking off my heels. "25." Apollo searched through his phone screen, and then the chords of the first song began playing from internal speakers on the wall. "I told you, this place has everything," Apollo smiled and started taking off his shoes too. "Especially if you are here." I looked at him, my heart pounding in my ears.

With a choir, singing in her living room! “Beth,”Emma said ever so sweetly,“honey, are you totally sure you weren't having a dream? You must realize how this sounds! All this talk of caskets and corn children giving you ominous warnings….did you watch a horror movie before bed?You know how those upset you.” Beth composed herself as best she could.”No, I didn't watch a horror movie Em.I came downstairs thinking I’d left the telly on and there in my living room was a casket with me in it!And a choir of children.”

After a while, she caught a glance of a door at the end of the right side of the corridor. Her mind did not find relief that it was almost at the end of their torment but rather it was curious as to the door and what lay behind it. She could hear music playing, music more eerie than anything she had ever heard. It sounded like the song of the dead if there ever was one. Though the instruments were played perfectly, the melody was not one to please the ears. It was exactly what it was, a song for demons. As they got closer to the door and the music got louder, Hazel wished she was born deaf so that she would be spared the torment of listening to the tune.
