Novel & Cerita Haunting Of Adeline Series

he nodded, as he started to tell what was found in the Anderson Mansion. Adeline Anderson was found dead at 5 a.m. this morning, the first to find her dead in her bed was her daughter, Francesca, or as it’s said in the police report. They have taken Adeline's body for postmortem, the report is expected in the afternoon tomorrow. This has been classified as a high-profile case. They are speculating poison. She had signs of torture. "Signs of torture?" I asked and I looked at Killian—his eyes frozen on the screen and his fingers stopped at the top of it. He stilled as cold descended on him. "What is it?" I asked, taking the iPad from him, and he didn't protest.

It body got drained of blood, has no leg to move but rather moves through the air, it head was of the exact shape of a skeleton. I couldn't control my feet anymore for the speed exceed that of Usain Bolt athlete. As I tried to run inside the house, she was right behind me just as I read it in the Black Cults book that ghost in Tortuga are faster than any human. She almost entered the house with me but Sorcerer pointed a stalf at her, casting the spell, "INCENDIO" with wide range of fire coming out. And then she vanished.

He raised his brows in a silent question and then it clicked. Camila! To think it was Adeline…my human mate..who had flashed in my mind at the word girlfriend. Because by right, that was what she was supposed to be to me by now. If she were a werewolf and not human, if she wasn't here for reasons I didn't even want to think about… A wave of guilt clawed inside me. Adeline was innocent…she had just lost her parents, but my dad wanted it this way…to atone, or whatever the fuck he had told me.

Sidney Midnight I woke up next to Adeline. Our eyes meet, like ocean currents. I felt in paradise, in the world of heaven. White sheets and curtains, a completely spacious and bright room. I ran my finger across her lower lip and she bit it lightly, setting my body on fire. I took her mouth intensely, devouring it with my hungry tongue. I ran my hand over her abdomen, feeling the volume of her belly that carried my son. I looked back at her and she smiled. His hand took mine, leading it back to the place of his belly. I kissed her forehead and closed my eyes, imagining a peaceful place, but when I opened them, everything was gone. One more… One more nightmare. Of all the nightmares, this one

Adeline’s pov I tried not to cry again. This was something my tear ducts were used to, it was almost a routine to watch it dry up and so I sucked in the tears and thought happy thoughts. Thoughts that comprised of the good old earlier days. Looking back to the sequence of events which brought me to that house of brooding mystery, of sinister undercurrents and disturbing echoes. I sat on a wooden bench I had found as I became lost in thought all alone in the darkness.

She's right, not only can I do this but I have to. "Cassandra, now." Nikolina persists and Cassandra just nods. She pushes her hair to the side, exposing her neck. And just like that Aurora takes over. I grab Cassandra and immediately sink my teeth into her neck. She succumbs and even holds onto me but that doesn't satisfy Aurora, who hasn't been able to feed in centuries.

Her men swarmed my elderly father and hanged him alive—right there, in front of my grave. Despair and regret swallowed me whole. I screamed, I sobbed, I begged her to let him go. But as my father's body swung lifelessly, Adeline's smile only grew colder. "Now it's his sister's turn." At that moment, her face was twisted and grotesque, like a demon that had crawled straight out of hell.

Adeline refused to answer my calls and texts, I sure know how she feels about not wanting to see me, I just pray I'm not too late. Rushing into the Mansion No staff greeted me, I had texted them earlier to give the place privacy. Up the curved staircase, past framed black-and-white photographs of city skylines and forgotten family portraits, I moved with purpose toward the master suite. The door was ajar. Inside, Adeline sat on the edge of the bed, still in the charcoal blazer and silk blouse she’d worn to the office that morning. Her knees were drawn together, phone cradled in both hands like something fragile and poisonous. The screen glowed against her face, illuminating the tracks of dri

Adeline's words rang in my ears, terrifying me even more. "I will kill you!" I roared at her, but she only laughed at me. Her laughter echoed around me while I sat weeping in front of Patrick's and Waylon's dead bodies. I roared, but Adeline didn't answer anymore. Her laughter was gone, and suddenly, I was surrounded by darkness. I searched for Patrick and Waylon, but their bodies had disappeared. I called out to them but didn't get any response. I kept wandering through the darkness, calling for them, but no one answered.
