One fresh morning, as the sun sifted through the trees, casting long shadows over the woodland floor, a delivery person arrived bearing news that sent swells of energy through the pack. Aveline's closest companion and confidante, Hazel, was returning to Whispering Woods. Hazel, a talented toxophilite and scout, had been absent on a mission, gathering insights on the Shadowlands and looking for potential partners. Her return was a welcome boost to their assurance, and Aveline couldn't hold up to be rejoined with her companion.

“Nope. Papa bought a woman last night. No one knew about this unknown guest. I figured out when I came to the living in the morning to collect my books.” “God, did Miles see any of these?” I sit up from my position. “Almost. But then I busied him with a game.” She smiles. “I am a genius.” “What game?” I can smell trouble from her laugh. Hazel is not someone who will tolerate things calmly, and it scares me a lot. Sometimes I feel her actions are a little vivid and hard to think. “We played with the water gun.” “That’s it.” “Yep.” “Hazel.” “Okay, we made our papa’s little guest the target and splash red water all over her body.”

Alpha Blake stopped his Armies with his hand before smiling at Hazel. “You have done a great job, I am impressed, but I have to stop you, because I don’t feel like hurting you, at least not yet. I wanna take you and other people to my park alive, atleast you guys can be my slave until the bàstard you all call Alpha come back” Alpha Blake said and Hazel picked up her sword, she attack him with it and he set his leg in the floor. Hazel fall down flatly and Alpha Blake spray something on her face which made her passed out. “Take her to the car!” Alpha Blake instructed on of his armies, he bowed his head before lifting Hazel up from the ground.

Something human. “See something you like?” Evelyn’s voice jolted Hazel from her thoughts. Her friend sidled up beside her, wearing her usual smirk. “Hardly,” Hazel muttered, crossing her arms defensively. “I’m just… observing.” “Observing, are we?” Evelyn teased, nudging Hazel’s shoulder. “Because it looks like you’re thinking very hard about someone who happens to be leaving for battle.” Hazel shot her a glare but didn’t reply. How could she? Evelyn wasn’t entirely wrong.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Hazel, the sweet little thing you've been fawning over, is the former Luna of Moon Shadow pack. The same pack that's been trying to sabotage your company for years." Noah's eyes scanned the file, his expression unreadable. "So what if she is?" he asked, his voice even, but with a hint of defensiveness. Danika chuckled, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Oh, Noah. You are clueless. Hazel's past is complicated, to say the least. And her connection to the Moon Shadow pack makes her a liability. You can't seriously be considering making her your mate, can you?" Noah's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched.

Meagan asked Brianna who giggled. “I can hear you!” Hazel said loudly. “Slavery era ended a long time ago.” Brianna replied. “I am stuck with you, Meagan Swift! You deserve all the happiness in the world, so give another man a chance in your life!” Hazel screamed from the rooms “Shut up, Hazel!” Meagan shot back. “We have just ten minutes to call time.” Brianna reminded as she took out a small brush from her bag to redo her hair. Hazel is an iota wolf which means a worker that works at the pack infirmary treating wolves.

Resolve. The Hallow stirs in the shadows behind me, a low hum vibrating through the room. It’s hungry. Growing. Waiting for the next offering. Jason believes this spell will give it what it needs.
