Isobel rose up from the table. Striding to the kitchen, she dished up another plate. Placing down his copious plate, she pivoted to the speakers by the kitchen counter. “Oh! I love this song.” Isobel scrambled to her phone and increased the volume. Staccato beats of drum and bass filled the room. A man’s soulful voice rang through, singing about a woman’s hips winding for him.
