"Brianna, you're a college student. What do you think should be done about this?" Mom gently pulled my brother up from the floor, wrapping her arms around his bulky body to soothe him. He was just a high school freshman, 15 years old, not even 1.68 meters tall, but already tipping the scales at 77 kilograms. Huddled there, he looked like a mound of squished meatloaf. I bit back the bitterness rising in my throat and put on a show of concern.

Aiden landed a solid hit to Ethan’s jaw, revealing the street-hardened side he had buried long ago. “Enough!” Their mother’s voice cracked like a whip. She marched forward and slapped Aiden hard across the face. “How dare you humiliate your brother in front of everyone? After everything this family has sacrificed for you both!” Aiden touched his stinging cheek, breathing heavily. “Sacrificed? He’s the one who nearly ruined us.” His mother’s eyes blazed. “You will welcome him properly, Aiden…” The party continued awkwardly, but the damage was done. He turned around again. "He's not my man okay.." I sighed and rubbed my forehead. "He's my brother. He's now staying in with me okay?" I said and chuckled. I had reasoned that this might be the issue, but I wasn't going to say it until he did. "That guy's your brother?" He asked pointed up at the building. "Yes! My younger brother actually you big baby" I said and he laughed and leaned on his car. "Don't call me that. And wow, he looks older than you." He exclaimed.

Gabrielle had grown on her badly, so instead, she stuck by the nickname 'Brie'. "Do I look okay?" She turned to her brother, Adam, who was silently playing a game on his phone. He took a second to respond, his soft, brown hair flopping down into his eyes as he hunched over the colourful screen. "Huh?" He looked up, sacrificing his game in the process. His soft, freckled face shone with admiration for his sister. "You look great." He smiled and stood up with a jump. He trotted clumsily over to the window and glanced out with a thoughtful expression.

He said and I nodded. That man is annoying. "Fine, I'll go to your brother now." He said and handed me the plate but before he could leave he trailed off. "Don't worry, I won't kill him." He said and walked out of the terrace. Huh? HE LOST FROM SOMEONE YOUNGER THAN HIM AND IT WAS NO ONE OTHER THAN MY BROTHER. MY BROTHER IS STRONGER no but Sebastian is strong too. I can't choose. I shook my head and walked towards the railing as I looked up at the dark sky covered with stars.

We were in their territory and it's weird for them to hear a man calling me an Alpha. "My apologies, may I know if you want him here, sir?" he asked. I scowled and let out a deep sigh, looked like I had no choice after all, "let him in," I commanded and he obeyed immediately, then after a few minutes, my brother came in from the front of the door, thumbs in his pockets, wearing a long mischievous smile and staring at me as he closed the door behind him using his feet, kicking it from behind him.

He was a playboy, but no one could talk trash about her sister. He frowned. "And take that back. Which part of Mia is lame? She's kind, mature, and pretty." The sudden praise caught Mia off guard. How could he blurt something like that so overtly when his girlfriend looked like a celebrity? "Are you finally admitting, Claude Lane? Didn't you say you like me? We've only started hanging out less than a month, but you already have a new lover!" Things were getting out of control. Mia quickly cleared up the misunderstanding. "Miss, you're misunderstanding. He's my brother. It's not like what you think it is."

I ask him, crossing my arms. All i wanted was to go for a fucking run, i didn’t realise that MR drama queen would literally rip someone's heart out because they shook my hand. He's hot, but he’s kind of pathetic too, who the fuck even does that? “So, you are the one my brother is so hung up on.” He says with a smirk, “I can see why.” Brother? Well, shit. This can’t be good. I scoff, leaning back on the scratchy mattress, “Yeah, me too, it’s because he’s a sociopath.”

“So… parents?” The word landed like a slap. My gaze locked on the road ahead. Jaw clenched. “Gone.” He tensed beside me. “Shit. I-I’m sorry.” “It was a long time ago,” I said flatly. He didn’t push. After a moment, he asked, “Got any siblings?” “Nope.” “I’ve got a little brother,” he offered, a smile audible in his voice. “Caleb. He’s a menace, but he’s my favorite human. Smart as hell. Talks back to everyone. I’m convinced he’ll either run the world or blow it up.”
