The alpha's little mate

The alpha's little mate

I don't know what is more shocking right now . He just looks at me with the same nonchalant face that he has . Oh I just wish I couldn't look at his mismatched eyes anymore . I just hate him right now . At his point I should not have remained with him. He looks at the blood on the knife and takes a taste of my own blood . I feel like puking right now at the sight of him trying to taste my blood . It is pure disgusting and I dont want to look at him "I knew it , "he smirks as he gives a moan of pleasure. His eyes are bloodshot red as he talks to himself.

The Emperor’s False Omega

The Emperor’s False Omega

Then took the tea. Warm. Bitter. I drank. The medicine in it hit my tongue instantly. I lowered the cup slowly. Soren tensed. I smiled. Coldly. “You drugged me.” His eyes widened. “It is only a healing tonic.” I threw the cup and it shattered beside his head. Soren flinched but did not move. My chest rose and fell. Anger burned hot beneath my skin. No one drugged me. No one controlled me. I moved fast. Too fast for this body.

I'm Pregnant, Sincerely Your Rejected Mate

I'm Pregnant, Sincerely Your Rejected Mate

“Judge for yourself.” I take a sip, and I immediately regret it. The taste of bitter herbs with a hint of something sweet burns its way down my throat. My face scrunches up, my tongue itches, and I give an undignified cough. “Oh, God!” I curse in between coughing while Wesley laughs at me. “What is this?!” I glare at him, and his expression only grows more amused when he sees how much I struggle to get the taste out of my mouth.

HEIR Unexpected Love

HEIR Unexpected Love

As she squatted in the kitchen to boil the medicine, Diana deliberately added a handful of bitter herbs to the mixture. A large bowl was put before Brian, a black and smelly concoction bubbling within. Smelling it, Brian was sure he wouldn’t be interested in any other food that day. Standing beside him, Diana looked at him earnestly. “Drink it. Good medicine tastes bitter. For your self-esteem, be a man and drink up!” Brian held the bowl and drank the concoction. He frowned and said: “Diana Anderson! You better pray this medicine works!” “I promise,” Diana swore. Though in her head, she was not so sure.

I know what you taste like

I know what you taste like

I just needed a little more pressure inside me. I finally got what I asked for because he started pressing his tongue inside me . Filling me just slightly. He would flatten his tongue and swipe up and down along my ring , and then suddenly trust inside me as far as he could. it felt too good. “ you taste so good”, I heard him say. He suddenly stopped and stood up. I don’t know where he went to, but when he came back, I felt this cold liquid being poured on my ass. . “ you’re going to scream a little, just a little”, that alone gave me a mental orgasm.

The mafia King's Pet [M×M]

The mafia King's Pet [M×M]

I wanted this version of him to be real. I reached for the cup with trembling hands. Making sure not to make skin contact. “It's safe,” he said, looking at me, as if to tell me that it was not poisonous. I downed the content. In one gulp. I am already feeling the warm feeling spread from my throat down to different parts of my body. “I didn't expect... this,” he said under his breath, watching me with something like amazement. That was when I realised that I was kinda enjoying the medicine a little too much.

My Second Chance Mate Is An Alpha

My Second Chance Mate Is An Alpha

~Eleanor~ “Open up,” he demanded. I hesitated a little before complying. The smell of the medicine alone was enough to cause vomiting. How can anyone drink something that not only looks bad but also smells terrible? “No, girlie, that's not right. Open up; say, ah!” I almost choked. Fuck, doesn’t this man realize how strange it feels for him to say those words? I gathered all of my courage and finally drank the tonic. Heck, my intuition was correct. It tasted exactly like it smelled: like chicken poop!

Sins With My Ex's Father

Sins With My Ex's Father

“Anyway, make sure to take your medicine at the right time. Not a minute less or more.” I shrugged, a lazy movement of my shoulders. “You’ve told me that several times already.” My gaze drifted to the little pile of pills nesting on the table. Just looking at them made my nose wrinkle. I could still feel their shadow, a bitter film coating my tongue. “You have no sweeter medicine? That one tastes like shit.” My whole body gave an instinctive shudder as the memory of the taste flashed back. It was the reason I was now so into tea. I’d taken the awful pill this morning, and, guess what? Hours later, I could still taste it — a nasty aftertaste that no amount of peppermint tea could completely w

Great storyline! Love the characters... Laughed, cried, got angry... some parts were too drawn out others too short. A few grammatical errors, but overall a truly great read!!! Definitely would recommend it to others!

I really love this book. Huge character maturity over time. Unique story for this platform. You will fall in love with the characters and may even gain a new "book boyfriend" out of the read. The book is not short, but that makes it better to follow the roller-coaster love story. Great job, author!

Caught In Between Two Alphas

Caught In Between Two Alphas

“Didn’t you taste the food before serving it? I should have known you were not a good cook. Instead, you wasted all those condiments for nothing.” His words cut deep. I felt crushed. I'd put in a lot of effort into making the food. How could he say that? Still, I decided to taste it myself. I picked up a different spoon and took a bite. The moment it hit my tongue, I spat it out immediately. I nearly died and came back to life. My face contorted so badly I couldn’t even describe it. I had tasted the food while cooking, so what happened? “Now you see what you served me,” he said coldly. “You can’t even swallow it yourself.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What a sly little title 'He Tasted His Own Medicine' is — it immediately promises a neat bit of comeuppance. I dug through my old shelves and notes and can say with confidence that it was written by H. H. Munro, better known by his pen name Saki, and it first appeared in 1911. That fits his razor-sharp satirical period when he was publishing short pieces in magazines and then collecting them into volumes.

The piece reads like classic Saki: mischievous, a little cruel, and delightfully economical with its moralizing. You can hear echoes of his other pieces like 'Tobermory' and 'The Open Window' in the tone — witty observation, societal poke, and a twist that lands with a smirk. If you enjoy compact stories that sting and then make you laugh, this one is a perfect example of early 20th-century short fiction. I still chuckle thinking about how perfectly he delivers that final ironic note.
