His head snapped back, blood spurting from his nose as he crumpled further to the ground.
“You don’t get to speak his name,” I hissed.
He coughed, tried to laugh through the pain, but it came out as a choke. “You think... killing my men makes you strong?”
I crouched again, face inches from his. My voice dropped to a dark, deliberate murmur.
“No,” I said. “Strength is making you watch as I ruin you.”
His breath hitched.
“I’m going to scatter everything you’ve ever built,” I continued, “brick by brick, deal by deal, soldier by soldier. You’ll live to see your empire crumble… publicly, painfully, and permanently.”
