Natasha refused to believe she was that incompetent. She just needed to adjust, that’s all. It was a change of time and environment and she needed time to adjust. That’s what she told herself – that she had to adjust. She was going to get used to it. She was going to get used to waking up every early in the morning, bathing for two six year old children, feeding them, breaking up their fights and rushing them off to school. She was going to get used to their constant brawls and screams and tears and breakdowns. She was going to get used to how they turned everything upside them immediately she was out of sight and leave her to fix their mess. She was going to adjust.

Instead, I smiled. A slow, confident smile. “Don’t bother,” I said. “I can make that work.” His jaw clenched. “You’re delusional if you think he’ll come back to you after her.” “Oh, Raymond,” I murmured, stepping closer, lowering my voice like I was sharing a secret. “Men don’t fall for broken girls. They get distracted by them. And distractions can be removed.” His eyes darkened. “And what if he chooses her anyway?”

Not in front of the pack. After I filed my resignation, I saw Alice one last time. She'd healed, but barely. Hair a mess, eyes vacant—like her wolf had gone silent. Then, right there in front of everyone, she jabbed herself with a needle. Blood streaked the metal as she whipped it around like a weapon. Her claws raked down her arms, splitting skin open. No one moved. No one dared. "This is your fault—all of you!" she screamed.

But deep down he knew he craved it. Nicholas clenched his teeth and ran a hand through his hair. He needed control. He has built walls so high that no one could pass through over the years. However, he felt her slipping through the cracks, bit by bit. He allowed her to do so. He dropped the glass which smashed on the floor. He swore under his breath but he made no effort to collect the shards, the pieces mirroring his broken condition.

I can’t fall apart right now. I star at the wall, and something inside me just… breaks. Not in a way I expected. It’s not the kind of breakdown where you get mad and throw things. It’s a slow kind of break. Like when as crack starts in the foundation of a building, and no one notices until the whole thing’s about to come down.

**Nancy's POV** "I won't do it. I won't just do it," I shout as I stand on the entrance of the washroom. How can this happen? How can this ever happen? Why me? I have never even imagined that it could be me. It could be I that should go through all of this. I break down in front of the washroom as I fall on the cleanly wiped tiled floor with my both hands supporting me to sit. The tears stream down my cheeks like they are flooded with that salty liquid and are never ever going to stop in my whole life.

“I’m not going to hurt you.” “I don’t know that. You say you aren’t going to hurt me, but the way you act sometimes hurts me. One day you treat me like you want me. Then the next you’re telling people I don’t mean anything to you. That we are only friends. I can’t take that. Not from you. I’m already broken, Dmitry. But you the power to shatter me.” His eyebrows wrinkled together. “Dani. For days now, I have been trying to tell you how I feel.”

I can feel it. "No one" she replies and I knew her answer before. "See, this is what you do . Every. fucking. time . You close up and build these walls. But i can feel them breaking down for me . You will tell me ,claire, i know it " I say.

Her stomach was already grumbling and she rushed to get door assuming it would be the pizza delivery guy . She opened the door, but the next moment she felt she was frozen . A shiver ran down her spine . She felt she was being crushed to dust . All her dreams and hopes were shattered . She saw her man, embracing another girl and kissing her like he wanted to take her breath away . A tear rolled down her cheek .

Good morning April,' I greeted them. 'Good morning. Hope you slept well. 'Bella asked. 'I did.' It wasn't a lie. I indeed slept well despite the incident of the previous night. 'If you didn't sleep well, it would have been a sin,' April said as she used the hand mixer to mix the egg she had broken into a bowl. 'What do you mean?' I asked wondering what April meant. 'What do I mean? Have you ever slept in that type of bed? The bed sheet alone will buy me ten times over,' April said as she gesticulated with her hands.
