Joy’s POV “Hey there nerd !” a familiar, male voice cooed as a big warm hand caressed my head. “You look pretty banged up. You could easily be the poster child for the ‘Ugly Duckling’ ,” he added with a chuckle. This idiot, ughh. But my head hurt so bad. What happened ? My head spun as the haranguing sound of someone old and female crying bled my internal mind ears. I felt a splitting headache threatening to burst my head like a volcano.

I flashed him a cute sheepish smile as I chewed on my food, gulping down my drink along. Carlos decided to crack a joke as we ate, making funny expressions that got us all laughing. While I cackled lightly, I felt a sharp pain again in my head and my smile fainted quickly. I held my forehead, and I could feel my temperature getting hotter. Gradually, I got a splitting headache as their chuckles filled my ears. I felt a severe pain in my abdomen. I knew it was my menstrual cramps. My eyes widened. It has never been this painful.

"Yeah. I just woke up with a headache." "A headache or a hangover?" Faith could practically hear the evil smile. "Yes." Tracey started laughing, and Faith had to hold the phone away from her ear until the other woman stopped. "Good for you. At least someone is having fun this week." "I did last night, at least. Who isn't having fun?"

I groaned. "That's because, drinking, getting drunk and then complaining of headaches!" He was still angry so I just laughed and shook my head. "Why is that?" I asked, opening my eye.

Fear clouded my thoughts at the thought. A severe headache gone all of a sudden, what was that? "Emily, what is going on with you?" Larry asked when he saw the look on my face. Befuddled, I stuttered in response showing how messed up my mind was at that moment. "I..i..had headache...and, and cold. Then, it mysteriously went away. I...I'm so confused, right now, I don't understand, it all seem so weird and...spooky." The brothers looked at each other with a frown and they contemplated, could it be that they don't believe me? Jeffrey, watching my body buzz around the lobby like a headless chicken, couldn't help but curve his lips into a sharp smirk. “What the fuck is so funny to your eyes?” “My face smiles because my lips want to,” Jeffrey says, spreading his hands wide as he arches a brow playfully. But the movement inadvertently pulls at the stitched wound on his skull, which immediately stiffens his grin into a painful grimace. I point my finger straight at the thick bandage on his head. “Laughing too hard can bite your own flesh back, buddy! Did Brooke’s claws give your skull that nasty wound before you fled?”

Thalia “Aha, my head hurts, Mily!” I yelled for my best friend while holding my head. I woke up with the most brain-damaging headache. I couldn’t even remember what happened and how I ended up in bed. I opened my eyes and closed them again as pain shot through me.

I just really hope no one disturbs his beautiful morning. "Fvck this headache d*mn!" No matter how I gently massage my forehead the pain was still there, I'm having a hard time dealing with this headache. I think I need to sleep. Maybe no one will bother him!
