I was already so tired of sitting there, and talking about one business deal or the other. Everything was fun from the start, but it stopped being fun when the big guys started to speak about their wives and children. It really disgusted me because I had none. All I could do was to watch as they laughed when complaining about their wives behaviour. I was sick of it already. Being overly frustrated by their unattractive jokes, I stood from the table, and excuse myself from staying with them. They sincerely didn't have any idea how bad I felt.

Absolutely.” He cleared his throat, adopting a serious tone. “Why don’t skeletons fight each other?” Riele blinked, momentarily thrown off. “Why?” “Because they don’t have the guts.” The joke was terrible. Absolutely awful. But Riele burst into laughter anyway, the tension in her chest breaking apart with each giggle. Jay grinned, triumphant, as if her joy were his greatest victory.

Flirty jokes are a shockingly integral aspect of our friendship. "I hate you both." I turn on my heel and start walking back to the room and behind me I hear them trying to hold in their laughter. The circus lion ate the clown but didn't finish." I say. "Why?" She asks. "Because he tasted funny." I respond and Harper chuckles again. "More." She teases, but I just shrug.
