Healing Charms Harry Potter Novels & Stories

Then, a cool response, "I know. I feel it, too. Let me think..." Charlene watched as ReNew closed their eyes in deep concentration. A soft glow filled the room, and suddenly, an x-ray-like vision appeared before them. A swirling, pulsating wave radiated from her mother’s neck, encasing the charm in a protective bubble. "The charm is protecting itself," ReNew explained in a steady tone. "We need to break through it, but we must get closer." Charlene’s heart raced. "How? How do we do that?" she thought desperately.

He had been so wrapped up in his grief that he didn't notice a difference in charms. “Yes, she gave me her wand and told me it was mine now, and then she said some strange words and then some kind of light left her body and went into mine. I felt it when it happened and then she was gone, I tried to repeat the words to give it back so she didn't leave me, but it didn’t work. I am sorry I killed your grandma, I begged her not to leave, I told her I didn't want her powers.” Charms said as she cried. Taji’s heart broke at seeing the little girl cry, he understood exactly how she was feeling.

Sunshine screams as the mixture flying through the air strikes her down. I step inside the protection ring. I reach out to make an opening and pull her onto our side to protect her, but before I can pull Sunshine into my magic protection, one of the minions grabs Sunshine. He hits Sunshine one time with the salty-smelling potion, and it penetrates her body.

I had just let out a breath of relief when another message came through. "The person who gave you that charm is vicious. She didn’t just use your birth data to have it made. She sealed a drop of her own blood inside it. Feeding the charm with blood lets that energy seep into your body. Even if you don’t wear it sometimes, she can still use your womb to grow her child." A chill ran down my spine. @HollowBranch continued, "I’ll tell you how to break it." That night, as soon as I got home, I followed their instructions and cooked a pot of warm ginger oatmeal with brown sugar. I had three full bowls before I finally started to feel better.

Something wrapped around Gail’s wrist and she felt magic once again pierce into her. Aunt Rose dropped her arm and Gail saw a wide bracelet on her wrist. Made of black leather, with threads of purple woven into it, Gail recognized the bracelet as some kind of charm for a binding spell. Panic slammed into Gail. “No, stop,” she screamed and pulled her hand away and out of the second bracelet before her aunt wrapped the leather bracelet around it.

She had already slashed one considerably. I moved towards the dealer but his eyes were fixed… not on me but on Mara, his mouth opened in a chant that seemed to burn the air. “Mara! Get DOWN!” I roared, just as the spell ignited. He flung the charm forward, it had a sickly smell and a purple colored light going towards Mara.

"We know, you don't have pure magick. So, you must have soft magick. I can teach you how to make potions and teas and charms." "Charms?" "By using the mix of right herb and right spell and right charm bags, you can make a charm. Charms can be used for protection, healing or for starting a circle of magick in case the person has white magick." "And what is pure magick? Is it like the kind Harry Potter has? Levitate? Move? Change?" "Yes, it is almost the same. A person with white magick is the one who has the power of alter, shift, change things."

I had someone pull every book and ledger that mentioned binding charms. Hours stretched like taffy. The healers worked in shifts, chanting, burning herbs, calling on the old rites. Their hands moved with the certainty of people who have seen too much death. The charm resisted at first—sparks flared when they tried to pry its energy loose. Once it reacted, Charlotte’s body shuddered violently, and I felt like I had been punched in the chest. At one point she gasped and a broken fragment of sound escaped her throat. I leaned in so close I could have whispered into her ear but then I was part of the reason she was in this condition.

“You have my support, my love. Even though it hurts me so much.” He pulled back slightly, reaching into his desk drawer. When his hand emerged, he was holding a small, glowing stone. Its light pulsed faintly, warm against his palm. “This is enchanted,” he said. “If you break it, I’ll feel it instantly. No matter where you are, I’ll come for you.” He reached again, this time retrieving a thin silver bracelet, laced with runes that shimmered faintly when they caught the light. “It’s a protection charm,” he explained. “It’s defensive, strong enough to buy you time if you’re in danger.”

I asked impatiently. She’s probably making all this up. Let's hear what she comes up with. “I have to prepare the ritual for you. I can get everything we need for you except a very vital ingredient,” the healer explained. “What ingredient?” “A medicinal charm, cast by a witch,” the healer said slowly. “A medicinal charm? Cast by a witch?” I repeated her words and looked at her strangely. “What medical charm? We have the Pack old witch. You should be able to cast it”
