Hallow's Edge

Hallow's Edge

She looks exhausted. Mom is leaning over her shoulder, pointing at a page. “This one is a basic cleansing spell. It clears negative energy and stabilizes your aura. You’ll need it before you attempt anything more advanced.” Raven nods, rubbing her temples. “Okay. And the potion?” “That’s a focus draught,” Mom says. “It sharpens your senses. Helps you channel magic without overwhelming yourself.” Raven sighs. “There’s so much. I don’t know how I’m supposed to learn all this fast enough.”

The Magic of Irina

The Magic of Irina

The healer was already gone inside the house when Hilda and Deandra stepped onto the snowy ground, it seemed someone in the house needed an immediate treatment from the healer. Stepping inside the house, Hilda and Deandra stood by the front door. They saw the healer was treating a woman’s injured arm while Sebastian handed a rolled parchment to her husband and explained on how to perform the spell that made the whole area of the house in complete darkness. Outside the house, Julian and Captain H were busy casting the house-sized bubble protection spell. “It’s an easy spell, but never been taught because our scholars thought it was pointless knowledge, but turned out helpful.” Sebastian said

Wed to the Alpha

Wed to the Alpha

“You will not change in appearance if you become a witch and broomsticks are optional, though they don’t help you fly.” I let out a sigh of relief. “Then what spells are there?” I then ask. Tapping his lower lip, Bucky lists off the spells he knows. Some of them are the usual curses, but there are a couple that heals or cure things, too. Though a common trend in many of these ‘spells’ is that one needs a list of items in order for the spell to be effective. Then there is something about a familiar and a few other things I don’t really understand. However, some things Bucky tells me does sound super fun.

The only reason I keep trying is because my mother and grandmother want me to. There are different types of spells. The ones where you say the words aloud usually work better with a wand but are not always necessary. The very experienced and strongest witches who have full control of their powers can cast these spells without a wand. Then, there are the spells where you use your hands to touch or hover over the object or person and concentrate using your mind. This technique is best used for healing wounds, which happens to be what my mother and grandmother are best at. Using your mind can also be used to change or move objects.

Seven Magics Academy

Seven Magics Academy

I called to her. I knew a spell that would heal Heather, but it required Sera's unicorn magic to work. She came over, and I pulled her down so we were both kneeling beside Heather. "Place your hands on her wound," I said, with a voice I didn't recognize. Once her hands were over the blood leaking out of Heather, Sera looked at me. "Repeat after me." The spell would siphon away Sera's healing powers, but it was the least Sera could do after nearly killing Heather.

Her firey feeling skin was much more painful then a normal witches. "Good job, we must do one last spell before your mother worries we've been gone to long. BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

BOUND TO THE DEMON LORD

She rubbed her forehead, ready to hand it back—then stopped. Her eyes caught the title. Spell Book. She paused. Slowly, she looked up at him. He had already straightened, watching her with a nervous smile. Zayla stood and flipped the book open, scanning a page. “You do spells?” she asked. He hesitated. “Well… yes. I’ve mastered most of them.” Her brow lifted. “Really?” He nodded. "I only know healing spells. I’m decent at them. Defensive spells, though…” Zayla exhaled. “Those refuse to listen to me.”

I believe I’m about halfway through. This story is amazing, and definitely deserves a lot more notice. I see it’s completed and genuinely hope it is and you didn’t just stop updating it. The characters are great, the back stories to them especially Asher is amazing. Definitely recommend this book!

Hey Readers! I’ve poured my heart into about 80 chapters, yet not a single review. How am I supposed to know if the story is good, worth continuing, or if you’re dropping it halfway? Your feedback motivates me and keeps this story alive. No reviews soon, I’ll take a break and hold back new chapters.

"Use this spell book Ariel" Ariel jolted back as she finally made out those words written. But her racing heart calmed down after a while and Ariel took the book and it opened up it's pages again. This time, Ariel seemed to find the words more easier to read. On this page, was written: The healing spell. Below it, were some strange words written. Ariel figured out that this page was actually for her at that moment because her hand was already bleeding from the cut.

Frequently Asked Questions

Repairing spells in the 'Harry Potter' universe are some of the most satisfying bits of magic to me—there’s something so cathartic about watching broken things snap back together. The classic 'Reparo' is the go-to, obviously. It’s versatile enough to fix everything from shattered glasses to entire wooden bridges, like we saw in 'Fantastic Beasts.' But I’ve always been fascinated by the nuance of spells like 'Oculus Reparo,' which Hermione uses on Harry’s glasses in the first book. It feels like a specialized version, almost like a subcategory of 'Reparo.' Then there’s 'Mendacium,' which isn’t as flashy but seems to handle more delicate materials—like repairing torn parchment or fabric without leaving a trace.

What’s wild is how the spells seem to 'remember' the original state of the object. Like, when Hermione fixes Harry’s glasses, they don’t just glue back together haphazardly—they realign perfectly. It makes me wonder if the magic taps into some kind of metaphysical blueprint of the object. And let’s not forget the emotional weight of these spells. When Harry accidentally breaks Hedwig’s cage in 'Prisoner of Azkaban,' that moment of panic before 'Reparo' fixes it is so relatable. It’s not just about the practicality; it’s about the little rescues magic provides in everyday life.
