His gaze fell to my hands and he coolly asked, "Be calm, will you?" How could I? I thought they replaced the heart? How could they get this fucking wrong, still? "Then talk. I don't have time for the stupid suspense." I said, sitting up even more. He sighed, "This current heart is having some issues too. They saw a small hole in the hospital I work with and two hospitals as well. The hole is growing. Needs to be closed. She is devastated. I have watched my girl over these last few years struggle to live a normal life. In the first year after her surgery, she barely stayed home. She wanted to do everything she had been deprived of doing whilst still sick.

“I don’t know but it's not like Manzitti, he didn’t want to leave Helen so none of this makes any sense.” From just those few words, I understand what my uneasiness means: Manzitti is missing. He hasn’t arrived at his pack territory, and they are searching for him. I feel like my heart has dropped through the ground below me. I finally found the other half of my soul, the person who treats me right, the man who sets my heart alight and has awoken all the desires I had thought I would never feel, and now he is missing. “That’s exactly it.” The words came faster now. “You always think this is about finding the right sentence after the fact.” Her chest tightened. “But I needed you in the moment, Malik.” There it was. The real wound. Not cheating. Not betrayal in the obvious sense. Absence. Emotional absence that kept arriving wrapped inside explanations. Malik looked like he wanted to respond immediately, but nothing came out. Because this time there wasn’t enough room to hide inside vague language. Keisha looked away first, blinking hard once.

But there’s still something missing.” I tilted my head and stared at her in confusion. “What do you mean?” “Didn’t you read the paper I gave you?” Her voice was honeyed. “Yes, you gave the blood and the hair. But you never stopped to ask what the third item truly was, did you?” She stood up then, “The final item,” she said, “wasn't just the core Fang.” She leaned forward, her eyes catching the dim light. “It's your Heart,” she whispered.

It felt as though someone was reaching into his chest and pulling apart his heart piece by piece. That was the day he lost her,the love of his life. Her absence had left a hole in his heart that he had tried to fill for years. Richard inhaled deeply as his chest tightened. He could feel his ribcage pressing hard against his heart as realization dawned on him. That day, he had lost the one person who brought joy to his life. And even the company he had chosen over her would never be big enough to fill the hole she left behind. The beep on his phone pulled him back from his thoughts. He wiped his watery eyes and fished the device out of his pocket.

“What is it?” Axel’s grin could not be wider as of the moment. “The instigator of this mess… is missing a Heart Blood.”

I can't accept every beat I heard. It's annoying. It's so annoying that it feels like this. With that jerk. I wish someone can pull out my heart make this beating stop. But sadly no one can... Maybe I'm just stupid to know what this is.... Or maybe not. To be continued.......
