The drugs still drag me down but there’s a thread now, a thin line back to the surface . Hold on, I think. Don’t let go. More images flicker: my father’s office, Barry’s threats, the merger papers, the clause. A photograph of Charlotte smiling, stuffed into my briefcase. The crash. Marcus is shouting my name. Glass. Maddox snarls his agreement, a low, vicious sound in the back of my skull. Heats don’t usually do this. Do you need another story to undertand and to enjoy FH? No! FH is a stand alone but characters from the first story of the series - Wolf Heart - will apeart in FH and other things from WH that probably won't make sense. I will start uploading WH as soon as posible. It takes place on Aylarra, on a different continent, around 20 years earlier than the events from FH.
