Heat Wave Captain Cold 소설 & 이야기

It was dark and unexpectedly hot. The temperature for the area around the cave was so hot. Heatwave surged from the underground and a strange vapor was floating all around the cave, The five birds and Sirene were sweating that you could easily see a drop of water falling down their exquisite face. However, Soheila looks like she doesn't feel any heat at all. Soheila was not sweating even an ounce of sweat was not visible on her delicate face. It was due to her rank level.

Lightning flashed across the black sky, illuminating the massive figure waiting for me. Captain Kai stood with his captain’s jacket open, white shirt plastered to his broad, tattooed chest from the rain. Water streamed down his face and neck. His eyes burned even in the darkness. “You’re late, brat,” he growled, grabbing my wrist and yanking me against him. “It’s three-oh-two,” I shot back, already breathless as cold rain soaked through the thin silk. “And this storm is insane. Couldn’t you have picked a calmer night to…”

"I can't believe that this shit is happening again." "Good day, gentlemen, I'm officer Willow, can you tell me what happened here?" The officer asked as Jake and Max shook his hand, "Hello, officer, I'm Jake and this is my friend, Max, I'm the owner of this apartment," Jake introduced as the officer nodded while writing in his notepad.

He reached into his backpack with a conspiratorial grin and pressed a freezing cold, condensation-covered can into my hands. "For you! Ice-cold sparkling water. Found it hidden in the back of the freezer downstairs." He winked. "Drink up. It will help with the heat." In a 140-degree wasteland, a cold soda was worth more than gold. "This is too generous. Thank you." "Don't mention it, Eliza." Just as I was about to pop the tab, a violent, terrifying chill shot up my spine, making the hairs on my arms stand up. I whipped my head around.
