Heat Wave Captain Cold 소설 & 이야기

I really hoped that the supermarket owner had listened to what I said and had prepared for the heatwave. He was able to dominate because he had bottled water and provisions during the heat apocalypse in my past lifetime, and I wondered how that b*stard Howard would fare as a gentleman without any water, and protect his precious princesses. I got excited at the thought of this. When morning came, I was woken up by notifications of messages. I grabbed a bottle of iced Coke from the little pool and took a sip. What a wonderful feeling it was. I read my messages while drinking my chilled Coke. Howard had left a message in the group chat for all students who stayed back at the hostel.

he finally announced dreadfully. “What?” “She?” “Is this a joke?” “So now we are accepting girls?” The boys complained. “Why? Are you scared I might beat you?” I quirked back. “She’s feisty” one of them remarked. “Emory” Coach Jude called and he stepped forward. “This is Emory, he is the captain of the hockey team” “What’s up princess?” He muttered. Coach turned to look at me, “You wanna join the team, I will give you a chance, if you can score a goal against him, then you are free to join the team”

The captain again announced as we undid the seatbelts. He said with his signature smile, "Get ready to dive in the winter." He handed me a pair of clothes, with shoes, a jacket, and a cap. I scratched my hair as he was putting on his clothes and then he put on clothes on Aaron's body. As per his order, I donned the pair, and as we get out of the jet. The cold wave of breeze fenced in me. I licked my dried lips and looked outside to find out where exactly we are!

My fingers were intertwined behind my back as I shifted a bit where I stood. I didn't like it in here. The windows at the side of the room were left open providing the room with ventilation. I shifted my eyes from the window panes beyond the iron bars to the air-conditioner that was mounted high on the wall. Its vents were faced down as it hummed cool air into the space of the office. For some reasons, none of these were enough to keep me cool and calm. Beads of sweat formed at the nape of my neck and my temple. I felt hot in here regardless of how ventilated it was. The Captain made the bundle of paper flop on the desk and adjusted the rim of the glasses along the bridge of his nose. He mad

the servant girl said, but her eyes didn’t open. “We’ll be there in a few days,” Meg reminded him. “We’re over halfway there, and the captain assures me the difficult part is past.” “What’s the difficult part? Are we over shallow water now? Could we get out and walk if necessary?” He was certainly toying with her, but Meg could see the fear in his eyes. “I believe he meant no more icebergs. It’s practically summer now.” “It’s not even June.” “The water should be much warmer.”

They all have uncommon hair colors; they look like they have the blood of beauty gods in their veins. Even the captain is a delicatelypink-lippedd, handsome-faced, tall, and well-built hunk of male flesh. He's green-eyed and blue-haired with the palest skin I've been chanced to see. He might not be as pale as Cain, but he still stands out. I would have liked him. I would have tried to stroke his ego even. But I doubt this man has an ego. He's as cold as the ducking sea we're going through and he seems to take great pleasure in making me feel like piss.

Can it? "This the one who shot the flare?" Captain rumbles before taking another long pull of the cigar. He drags his hazel eyes down my body slowly lingering on my crotch and chest. I fight the urge to fidget. I am however thankful that I've kept my arms wrapped around myself. "Yes, sir. Seems some dudes took her swimming and left her to fend for herself on a raft when the currents grew too strong for her to swim back to shore." The captain grunts as he continues his perusal of me. As if my bare skin can tell him all my secrets. "Bring some blankets and warm food." He dismisses the man behind me with the flick of a wrist.

Alessia said, her voice dropping flat and cold. It snapped me out of my spiraling thoughts. I had completely forgotten she was still in my place, and my brain scrambled trying to figure out how to get her out without causing a scene. "Nico," she pressed, a sharp edge entering her words when I stayed silent. "Mmh?" I grumbled, following her gaze toward the TV. I sat up fast the second I registered the screen. It was the captain of 'The Serpent'—a total legend, my absolute idol, and the star of the pro team that invited us overseas to train with them at their camp.

Then I heard the voice echoing down the concrete hall. “You’re pathetic, Davis.” I froze. That low, cutting tone— I already knew it was him. “I need it, Ash! You don’t get it — you’re a natural. I’m fucking drowning out there.” A whiny, desperate voice. Then a third one, older and greasy. “Listen to the kid, Kingston. It’s clean. Pure performance shit. Nobody gets hurt.” “Shut up,” Asher snapped. “League finds that garbage in his bag, it blows back on my captaincy. I don’t let anyone fuck with my ice. Take the pills and walk.”

Privacy was one of my top qualifications and I made that clear. There's a swimming pool outside if anyone is brave enough to sit in the heat and boil. No thank you. Even though the air conditioner takes the inside temperature down into the low seventies, it's too damn hot. The short trips I take outside to get in and out of my vehicle drive me the craziest. The heat is heavy like a wool blanket and leaches the water from my body. Who in their right mind would live in this godforsaken wasteland without someone holding a gun to their head?
