Heat Wave 소설 & 이야기

**ISABELLA** It was overwhelming like I might lose myself entirely but I didn’t want it to stop. My lips parted as waves of heat and pleasure crashed through me. The hand stroking his cock faltered for a moment, trembling due to the intensity, but I quickly resumed, pumping him harder and faster to match the rhythm of his thrusting fingers.

I repeated dumbly, as though saying it might erase it. “Yes,” Tessa said firmly, rushing toward me now, her hands gripping my arms with a steadying urgency. “Your heat is about to break out, I can smell it all over you.” My head shook violently and instinctively, the word burning me from the inside. “No. No, Tess—no. That doesn’t make any sense. That’s not—what do you mean?” But I knew. I had read about it in books when sleep wouldn’t come. “Heat.” The word lived in a dreaded lore, it's the time when a wolf’s body betrayed them, urging them toward mating with a hunger that raked through all rational thought.

The water hit their skin and instantly made them both feel better. Though it was a simple thing, Max knew this was the best way to get her to relax a bit more though he was the one who seemed to need it. He was trying to forget his thoughts of her walking away from him and the kids, but he was just able to push them to the back of his head. He would have to deal with all of that later. Now was a time to focus on her and the statement that he was the hottest guy she had ever seen.

Who is going to know? KILLER: That’s awesome. Chris is going there next week as well. Going to help out the newbies. Maybe I can go with and see you there. I’m not usually for breaking rules but that rule is ridiculous. No chance Hailstorm wants to join….? HAILSTORM: Mm… lemme think – seeing a bunch of wolves in the icy cold while you two cuddle up with your mates, sorry girls. That’s a no from me KILLER: The boys will be so busy there will be no time to cuddle Hailstorm, so it will just be us

A hottie, smartie, a sportie, I mean, what the fuck are we talking ‘bout here? The car came to a halt, and that's when I realised he's reached my school already. “Thanks". I muttered half heartedly. I was feeling kinda choked and I felt I wasn't ready to face everyone yet. There was one thing about leaked news, or public embarrassment. It'll barely get out of their heads until you prove them wrong. We could say if another scandal occurs, they'll forget about yours, but that's barely true. The only thing that'll happen is that they won't focus much on yours like before, but that doesn't mean they've forgotten.

The afternoon sun was relentless. Even under the big umbrella by the pool, the heat wrapped around them like a heavy blanket. Elise sat on the edge of her lounge chair, fanning herself with her hand. “This is unbearable,” she sighed. “I swear it gets hotter every summer.” Her mother, Laura, lay beside her with her eyes closed, a thin novel resting on her stomach. “You’re telling me. I can barely move.” Mark, Elise’s stepfather, stood near the pool steps, wiping sweat from his forehead with the back of his arm. His t-shirt was already damp. “We should’ve just stayed inside with the AC. This heatwave is killing me.”

The “Wave” was a dangerously delightful event. All wolves who had already been claimed and had a partner, regardless of gender, were overcome by an indescribable hunger that could only be satisfied by one thing: sex. That’s why the name “Wave”: it was a state of compulsory heat, a wave of desire, lust, and fire that hit us with full force and drove us toward sex. It could even be dangerous to go without; there were reports of wolves who got sick if they couldn’t mate. They felt physical pain and weakness without sex during that period of heat.

Fourteen minutes left. I didn't mind the warmer weather when I woke up to scrape the ice off my car to get to work, but I did keep hearing on the nightly news that if this heat wave continued, the summer fire season would be terrible. Summer seemed a long way away from now, though, so I was just enjoying the ice free car. “Bored to tears yet?”

Biting down on her bottom lip, she gently rubs her growing stomach which seemed invisible until she turns slightly to the side as a smile graced her face. “Hello, mommy’s baby, wait until daddy sees you, I love you so much.” TO BE CONTINUED… P.S. Sorry for the short chapter guys, currently working on the next as you read. Heat Vol 2. Is meant to finish this month, so expect frequent chapters, and all those who are back to school, hope you enjoy it and that all goes well with your education ;)

Hello readers. If you are regular reader of books with werewolves/wolf shifters then you already know what heat is. To those who may be reading a book of this genre for the first time, I just want to give a little explanation. I want you to have a basic understanding before you continue reading so you won't be confused in the next chapter. Heat is basically a period of extreme arousal in female wolves. It's kind of like ovulation in human females where they are horny and moody and have other symtoms of PMS.
