Helen's POV I woke late in the morning with a pleasant ache between my legs and the memory of his body against mine still fresh in my mind. After breakfast, I spent the day exploring more rooms in the manor. In one of the upstairs drawers, I found a beautiful silver locket. It did not belong to my parents. I was certain of that. Inside was a small portrait of a dark-haired woman and a lock of hair. The locket felt heavy with history. When night finally fell, I waited for him by the tall window in the master bedroom. I locked the door and sat down on the floor, my head in my hands while I stared into space thinking of my next move. Was I going to meet up with a shaman for this? Did I need to hire a witch because I cannot imagine that all of my reputation was going down the drain because I met one woman and fell in love with her. Oh shit, did I just think of Love?
