The dark hair on his chest was matted with the dirt of the ridge, his claws extending from his knuckles with a wet, heavy click. From the dense spruce forest behind the split boundary stone, the first of the invaders appeared. They were massive, twice the size of Silas’s timber wolves, their bodies wrapped in thick plates of dark iron that had been bolted directly into their flesh. These were the Iron Hounds, the selective breed of the Southern Council, raised in dark caves and fed on nothing but raw meat and sulfur to make them hate their own kind. Their eyes were bloodshot and wild, their jaws fitted with steel muzzle guards that had been sharpened to razor edges.

“I know of this underworld god who has a three headed dog as a guardian, but those are pretty hard to come by, so I summoned you three hellhounds. You will find them incredibly loyal and protective.” “Ah!,” said Alik. “That was what the blood was all about. Establishing ownership.” André nodded at the wizard. “How loyal are we talking?” Alik asked, looking at the pup clinically. “Intensely so. They will grow to become quite big and will need massive amount of meat. Fresh or rotten, it matters very little to them, but they prefer blood over water, so get yourself well acquainted with butcher shops around. They will obey, but you don’t always have to command them verbally. They are known to en

“Great, now you sound like our trainers.” “There’s a difference, though. We grew up with each other. The guy with the gut wound could be my brother or my cousin, my best friend. Get the idea?” “So, who are these Hell Hounds to you then? So that we know.” “Aria Redgrave. First cousin and a couple of years younger than I am. She’s the computer expert I was talking about, Hal. Please don’t get on her nasty side, or she will waste your time with so much computer nastiness your head will spin. Then we have Devine Kelos. She’s relatively new to our team, but she’s got a nose that can hunt anyone or anything down in a blink of an eye. It’s scary to watch Hilda play a

Monster: Oakwood Forest Fire Hound Monster Level: 26 Health: 35,000/43,000 Attack: 210 Defense: 90 Skills: Intimidating Roar, Fire Breath, Rabid Bite, Claw Strike, Fire Fang The archer watched as Kirou narrowly dodged the attacks of the five hounds while retaliating with a few punches to their snouts. It may have been a misconception on the archer's part, but he could swear that the fire hounds seemed to be reacting strangely after being punched. That, coupled with a few damage figures floating above the fire hounds' heads, allowed the archer to deduce that Kirou's gloves probably inflicted a status effect that results in health loss on their targets. As for whether it is poison damage, blee

Using my sword skills, I tear through their bodies, slicing their heads and limbs, but they keep coming. My body bows as claws dig into my back. Falling forward, I manage to rip away from the claw and slice at the hound, but another grips my arm. I kick out as my sword clatters onto the floor and rip another hound’s arm. Its grey body shudders, and its wolflike snout curls. Outside of their human forms, hellhounds are not pretty creatures. They are gray, with large, stout, pitbull bodies, very little hair, and heads are round with tiny cauliflower ears, beady dark eyes, and puglike snouts.

This will be at the top of the report to the Federation when I return home. If I return. King has found a way to capture the monsters and study them. Even if I don't agree, I need to pull my big girl panties up and discover everything I can about them. I walk closer almost mesmerized and for some reason my fear recedes. We call them hounds because they run on all fours. That's the only resemblance these creatures have to any type of canine. Their jaws are enormous, the teeth made for biting and shredding, the jaw itself made for pulverizing bone, wood, and even concrete. Our only protection has been steel sheets welded into the walls and floors of our compounds. With enough hellhounds they c

Well, I'm not bragging but when it comes to good looks his shithead is nothing compared to my ass, I mean how much more if it was my face as a basis of comparison? I don't know what it is but for some reason, I felt a sense of responsibility to the poor innocent lives, so I snap my fingers and summon my hellhounds. They are my loyal pets. They have this mangled black fur, glowing red eyes, super strength and speed, and ghostly or phantom characteristics. Pretty cool isn’t it? With a simple snap of fingers and a distinct whistle, they instantly come to me and for more than a century of having them as my pet, just now I realized that they all have a foul odor, so disgusting I can't bear to get

Vincent stared at the book “I figured out what Riley is” I turned to her “She is a hellhound, you can check it yourself “ Vincent was still staring at the book, and I decided to look too “Hellhounds carry the punishment of their ancestors past” Cyrus said as he looked at the book In the book, I could see the image of a beast with fire surrounding it. There was a writing below it, which I could not translate, but it seems Vincent and Cyrus understood it So I was a hellhound

If I hadn’t seen their mother, I would have thought they were young Labradors. “They’re really cute,” I said, my head tilting to the side. “Hellhound pups don’t become dangerous until they're three months old,” Rocco said. “Up until then, some of the adults mistake them as prey. That’s why we’re keeping Bonnie and her litter separate from the others.” “How long have you been taking care of Hellhounds?” I asked. He rubbed his chin. “Thirty—” When he stopped abruptly, I turned to him and frowned. “What did you say?”

He favoured the wolf life over their human side a bit more and this role allowed him to have a balance that kept him happy and kept his family happy. He had insisted on being there when the pack welcomed the Hellhounds into their territory. Axl didn't speak about it often but he had once been a Hellhound. He knew their ways and Eva suspected he was looking forward to reconnecting with old friends. His patch was proudly displayed in the living room, encased in a display case and hung above the fireplace for all to see when they came in. He might be a Silver Moon now but Nora and Axl always made a point of never forgetting their pasts.
