We took Nivi to hospital and waited for her test results. Each and every second I stood outside of every test room was like I am passing through an eternity. Within seconds the creature fell onto the shore and the glamor slowly started to dissipate. I felt a little bit of myself leaving as the bioluminescence started to fade.The planets began to disappear from the sky slowly. As we march, I look around hell’s desolate landscape. Hell is exactly what I imagined it would be with its barren ground and hideously twisted vegetation. The trees are grotesque husks of wood, and the ground is the color of rust. When I look at the sky, I grimace at its portentous mixture of red, black and gray. The oppressively hot air falls around us like a cloak.

Lillia voiced out firmly, and this time, Anubis met her gaze. “You were blocked by Azazel, the gatekeeper of The Hollow because you were alive. The Hollow is the realm of the dead. It is home to all things vile and evil, and if they smell you, they will latch onto you and will not stop until you are dead.” Anubis lifted the bowl and handed it to Lillia again. “Drink…” she repeated coldly. “…if you want to save your friend.” Lillia swallowed. Slowly, her fingers stretched and grabbed the bowl from Anubis but she did not bring it to her mouth.

Deep within the folds of existence, far from the mortal plane and even the watchful gaze of Olympus, the ruins of the Shadow Realm quivered in a broken silence. Once a fortress of impenetrable darkness and sprawling chaos, the realm now resembled a battlefield that had been swallowed by its own defeat. Great black spires, once proud and menacing, lay shattered in heaps of ash and crumbling stone. Rivers of smoke oozed across the cracked and broken ground, slithering through the rubble like dying serpents. The very air itself tasted of bitterness and failure, thick with a heavy stench of burning magic and decayed hope.

“Oh, that’s ugly. Please let me burn that.” Nihareth tilted his head, watching them assemble. “Fitting. The broken sons and daughters of a dead age.” “Dead?” Elias said slowly, stepping forward. “You don’t know what death is yet.” “Don’t give him time to monologue,” Dorian muttered. “He loves monologuing.” Kai cracked his neck. “Can I kill something now?” Amaria raised her staff and scanned the field. “No mortal terrain anymore.
