I lied, well it's technically the truth. "Ain't you gonna get your lunch?" Angel asked. "I'll get it for her since she seems tired. What do you want?" Hottie asked and I told him. He got up and left to get our meals. Looking at them, I could see the slight resemblance. They both had jet black hair and adorable dimples but while Hottie had hazel eyes, Angel had silver eyes and a lip ring. "I'm sure you're now convinced I'm not an Angel?" He smirked.

Sighing in exasperation, I get down from my car and walk up to the imposing gate to look up at it. I don't have the slightest idea how to open it, and even if I did, I assume that it would be locked from the inside. This means that I have no other choice other than to call my father's stupid wife to come and open the gate for me. I head back to my car, cursing under the sweltering sun, which has my hair glued to my nape with sweat, even though I've spent only a minute or two under it. Inside the car is even hotter than outside it, now that it's not in motion. I can't afford to put on the AC, since it would consume more gas and gas is expensive as fuck.

As they stepped past the last few trees, the roar of dozens of engines greeted them long before the convoy of motorcycles and trucks appeared from afar. Before they even got close Eva knew they were Hellhounds. Dozens of men and women sporting the same aura as Daniel, dangerous, gruff, unrelenting. "Uh, are we being invaded?" Duncan asked as he watched wide eyed.

“It has been years.” The Huntress spoke in a hushed tone as she stepped in front of a large dome made of marble and stone, thin vines spread across the smooth surface. “How fast time flies.” she said with a smile as she approached the wooden doors at the center of the dome and placed her palm on it. “I still remember the day that everything changed...” she chuckled at the thought. “Although none can say whether it was for the best or the worse.” She then took a step back and circled the dome, her eyes wandering over to the niches on the walls, carved in the symbol of the guardians chosen to protect what they must hold dear the most.

The blood bubbled into a pool and interweave like a thread to form flesh and grew into a million foot tall, solid bloody giant burning with intense blue flames. The Giant then bit himself and repeated the action to create two more Bloody Giants, making a total of three Giants.

"I am going to fucking kill you later, Hades, you fucking asshole!" Jinx was screaming as he tilted the helicopter to the side, trying to avoid a huge flying demon that wasn't interested in what it did to the invading toms on its way toward the gaping Hellgate. Jinx couldn’t spare even a glance to see if it got through. He was too busy focusing on what was in front of him.

The darkness in his eyes intensified as he trailed the knife over my skin teasingly. I couldn't stop trembling in utter terror.

They were met at the gate by a number of lycanthropes and Talented humans, all of whom had evil gleams in their eyes. Arthur was suddenly afraid. He floated off the ground, looking for an escape route. Gelok and a dozen or so of his warriors had moved towards the door, preparing to repel the invader. He was a bit surprised . . . he thought that with that red-headed whore dead that these mongrels would have lost their will to fight. Or was this simply the last desperate act of a crazed dog? 'No matter,' he thought as reinforcements arrived, bringing the number of Hellspawn to twenty plus.
