Him

Him

I have hurt myself again for thinking he would actually answer. “Birthmark,” he said and I snapped my eyes towards him. “The night of the party, you wore a black dress and it was backless. While you were going back, I noticed your birthmark. Two people looking the same could be a coincidence, but having a birthmark on their back at the exact same place, I don’t think so.” He answered. I wanted to slap myself for being so stupid. How did I not think about it? "How were you able to write with the right hand? arent you left-hand dominant?" he asked.

he smiled widely. The only thing I got from that was that the tall piece of man meat was going to be staying with us and I've just been dumped, it's the best thing that could ever happen, I mean, just imagine waking up and walking into the bathroom to see him, shirtless, towel wrapped around his waist, exposing his v-line a little, the messy wet hair and the water sliding down his body. "Go say hi." Jonathan said, pulling me from my thoughts. My mum had already left and he was looking straight at me and him, "Okay." I said and began walking towards him, "Hi," I extended my arm, "I'm Jade."

Scarlett

Scarlett

He refused at first but then obliged. "Sweet tea," he said, and I laughed. I opened the bread pack, and they were delicious salmon sandwiches. I was hoping to save a piece to remember Martha by, but I was too hungry and knew it would spoil. There were scones in there too. I gave Ebenezer a sandwich and a scone, and we ate it. We laughed and joked as he drove, and soon sleep came, and I fell asleep. I doubted anything worse than what had already happened to me would happen. I was just glad to be alive and on my way to freedom.

I read and finished in full Spirit Wolf, My Alpha, His Mate, Unwanted, Dangerous and Insatiable Desires, The Dark Side Of Fate, Once In The Dust, Scarlett, and now started Underwater, and all of them are my favorite. I still have to a few more but I have to finish one to move to the next

This was a great book, rich in detail and with complex characters. It’s the second book I read from this author, the first being “Unwanted”, which had no ending. This book also has no ending. I’m really disappointed to have wasted so much money on books that appear to have been abandoned.

Nathaniel

Nathaniel

“That’s when I came across a group of hunters just like you did. I thought I had found the wolf’s place that took my wife and, in turn, my Emily. I was scoping it out when I ran into this group of hunters. I didn’t realize at first that they were scoping the place out. I thought they were just normal hunters until I ran into them several more times around the same area. They finally asked me if I was looking for something. I told them that they wouldn’t believe me anyway. They actually attacked me and knocked me out. When I came to, they made me tell them my story.”

Dominic

Nic looked at me and I hated that I was thinking about the cabin, which meant my face was not as serious as it should have been. I nodded to avoid them staring too long. "You need to tell us everything." "Ok. Fatty is my boss." he held onto the wound on his thigh that was gushing blood and at that rate, He would die from the wound infection than from any bullet I was going to shoot him with. "Does fatty have a real name?" He blinked once, twice and I stepped closer, catching a whiff of something unpleasant from him. "Finn Connolly. But we all call him fatty, everyone calls him fatty."

Daisy Hunter

Daisy Hunter

Opening the door, Christiana stood in front of her. "I forgot my handbag and umbrella at your house." "So sorry for the inconvenience." Her voice was laced with remorse. Staring at her, Daisy Hunter said," What, No, it's really okay…I too forget my stuff in people's homes." Daisy Hunter said, smiling gleefully, exposing her perfect dentition. Stepping into the dimly lit room, Christiana spotted her handbag and umbrella, grabbing it, she thanked Daisy and stepped out immediately.

Spade

Spade

One of the men asked, Spade just faced him, putting all his attention on the man, he was at least 30 years old, he had a very unfriendly face, with tattoos that ran from his neck down to the rest of his body, his name was Nico. "Does it mean we're going to war with the Americans"? Another asked making Spade to shift his attention from Nico to him. Spade didn't know this one's name but he would recognize him anywhere, he was dark, he had this ruggedy hood boy look, he had a durag on his head. Most of them weren't even Italian, some were more Americans than Italians but they proved themselves countless times to him, they proved they could be trusted, and some had even gone as far as proving th

Alpha Vincenzo

Alpha Vincenzo

I smiled widely to myself. “What is your name?”, I asked her, staring down at my juicy steak. “It's Hazel”, she answered. I took a knife and cut a small piece of the steak with it, stabbing it with my fork and throwing it into my mouth. “Well, Hazel”, I said. It sounded muffled because of the piece of meat that filled my mouth. I paused the rest of my sentence and continued to chew. I finally swallowed it and had my mouth empty again. “I don't blame you for my husband's shortcomings. I know what kind of a person he is. I know that he likes to rape women and force them to pretend that his tiny dick even makes a mark”, I said.

It felt wrong but he would not take anything from me. I headed to the kitchen and made a hot drink. The warmth settled me. My house was too busy for my liking. I offered Logan a drink which he gladly accepted. As we were drinking there was another knock at the door which was unexpected. I froze, gripping my hands against the counter. Logan disappeared and returned a few moments later with someone behind him. “Leah, this is Jack, he does security for us. Jack this is Leah.” Jack was shorter than Logan and a lot stockier. He was muscular and had a shaved head. He reminded me more of an army man than anything else. His arms were covered in tattoos, and his stance screamed military. He stepped f

Ice & Ivy - A Hockey Romance

Ice & Ivy - A Hockey Romance

Focused on the assignment. That is the plan. "Fitzgerald first or Hemingway?" Eli wraps both hands around his coffee cup. "Hemingway. Start with the war injury angle. Physical limitation and creative identity." I write it down. He is not wrong. Hemingway's relationship with the wounds he carried from World War One, both physical and psychological, runs through almost everything he wrote. The way he used writing to process what his body could no longer do. The way his public identity became both armor and cage.
