That night, as Jason shut his eyes, he saw flashes of himself, filled with rage, standing over a man he had shot dead. Other images of five men flashed in, lying lifeless in different positions, at different locations. He felt relieved, breathing the metallic scent of their blood before walking out of there. He was dressed as Black Moon and the wind played with his black jacket which was as dark as a heart void of forgiveness. He opened his eyes, watching the ceiling. "I'm almost there, Rose." He smiled and averted his gaze at Stacy before laying a soft kiss on her cheeks.

Simon seemed unable to control himself any longer. That was great. Henry needed to vent because he was in a bad mood then. Henry turned on the light in the living room, took a bottle of beer from the refrigerator, and slowly sat on the couch. He opened the beer bottle, took a sip, and said calmly, "Just come out." When he said that, a man dressed in black walked out immediately. He wore a black hood, so his face could not be seen clearly except for his fierce eyes.

Beside it stood Henry, hands in his pockets, looking up and smiling. Caleb smiled back and pulled the curtain closed. A few minutes later, he walked out, dressed gorgeously in black jeans and a maroon shirt that hugged his frame. Henry’s eyes widened. “What?” Caleb said, smiling as he approached. “You are graced in handsomeness and those eyes… blue.” Caleb’s smile deepened. Henry grinned. “Ed Sheeran wasn’t wrong when he said the club isn’t the best place…” Caleb’s fingers brushed Henry’s stomach, a playful touch that he quickly pulled back.

But the moment he opened it, he wished he hadn’t because it was the man he hated to see the most. “Hello, son.” Henry smiled, brushing past him to enter the penthouse but halted his steps when his eyes landed on Scarlet. His eyes darkened and rage boiled in his blood as he drank in the sight before him. She was sitting on the couch wearing his clothes, eating, and from the way she was positioned it looked like they were being cozy. Scarlet's heart sank as recognition dawned. Henry Black. A man who looked so much like his favorite son, Micheal, and Sky took most features and their eye color from their mother.

He’s certain, that the deceased man was one of them—or just a scapegoat. “Flynn, I want you to find any group that has the symbol of a black crow.” He immediately commanded the young man. Flynn took out his laptop and began tapping on the keyboard. His hands were moving so fast on the keyboard. Hyde was in deep thought when the ringing of his phone cut him off. He left the window and picked up the call. “Well hello there, I didn’t think you’re still alive.” A familiar deep gravelly voice stunned the young man. He was nailed to his position and his breathing started to become unsteady. He’s definitely sure it was the man who killed his parents.

I give a meek reply, my voice barely reaching the other side. I feel a tinge of disappointment as Henry opens the door with an inviting smile. I attempt to mimic his actions, but my lips refuse to cooperate. "We're ready for you," he says calmly. I stare at his form, in a formal white shirt, and black pants, Henry is quite a character. A few strands of his whitish hair tickle his forehead as he stares at me. He looks like a businessman, preparing to convince his associates on a new deal. My focus quickly averts to the object sticking out of his black pocket.

Ethan was dumbfounded. "He's a member of The Black Ravens?" "He's a deserter, to be precise. He ran away from the organization two years ago. He's currently wanted by The Black Ravens. "So, he's been running around and evading The Black Ravens. Finding him will not be an easy task." Henry poured himself another glass of wine. "I've already told my brother about this. He'll also keep an eye out. He'll let you know if he finds anything.

As soon as I was alone, I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and frowned at the screen when I saw that Henry hadn’t responded to my last text message. That was unlike him; he was usually quick to respond. I opened the message thread and sent another message. “Where are you? It’s unlike you to not respond to me. I told Gavin that I knew about the blackmailer. She’s going to be at the Alpha Convention in a couple of weeks. I might need backup.” I pressed send and placed my phone on the nightstand. I waited a few minutes, but there was no ding. I frowned. That was strange. Where the Hell was Henry?

I really didn't care if he was a guy, he signed up for it when he decided to be my best friend. Anger forgotten, I went over to the dusty brown curtain that partly shielded the louvered windows and pulled them aside, sneezing as a wave of dust hit me. “Taylor, guess what?” a voice asked as it entered the basement. I spun around, shocked. There stood Henry in his Goth look. A totally black outfit complete with metal chains on his jeans and a white skull on his T-shirt. “Henry! You almost gave me a heart attack!” He clutched his heart, giving me a confused and surprised look.
