The First Heir

The First Heir

Among the three remaining gods, Hephaestus smiled lightly and said, “I’m okay with anything. Helping others is my hobby.” Fennel looked at Hephaestus, smiled lightly, and said, “You’re still the same. Under the mask of hypocrisy lies a heart that no one can see through.” Hephaestus smiled and said, “Apollo, you mustn’t say that about me. We’re allies.” Fennel shrugged, and his eyes fell on the remaining two gods with modified images on the screens. He asked, “What about you two?” After a moment of silence, the two gods said, “Okay, our terms are…”

love this book...the way the writer builds up the characters most especially the ML..but i was wondering why would the ML have to endure such humiliations from his inlaws when he could just show them his real 'him' as well and the enormous power that he holds considering the status of his family...w

she said as her tears fall continuously. "We've been waiting for you to come home." Ana Mae stared at the man standing behind her real mother. "How silly of I, I forgot to introduce you to everyone," Aphrodite chuckled. "This is your father, Hephaestus the God of fire and blacksmith," she introduced her husband to their daughter. Hephaestus wasn't able to stop himself from crying and hugging his daughter. He rushed towards her and gave her a warm hug which made Ana Mae flattered.

Who thinks like that? Hephaestus is also a proud man. He doesn’t like to talk about his disability and can be temperamental if he thinks people are coddling him. I haven’t read much about him, but I get the sense that people deceived a lot in the past. It hardened him and made him wary of everyone.

I am so glad we get for of Kas and Bronx and all their friends. The storytelling is exciting and the characters are complex and evolving. There is quite a cast of characters but the author does an amazing job of introducing them and only including necessary information so that you are not confused.

What a cliffhanger. You are an amazing writer. The series would make a highly rated movie. I would love it, only if they would let Neener Beener write the script. Others commented on the research and it's amazing. Does anyone know if this series is available in paperback? I need to buy 6 books.......

Malicious Vice

Malicious Vice

I said softly causing him to look over at me surprise on his features at my change in tone. "Real name is Kateus, also known as the sin of envy, due to jealous tendencies and grudges" I said taking a deep breath. "One of the main downfalls in humanity is the want for what others have making him one of the most dangerous sins because it doesn't matter who gets hurt in the process the only thing that is a priority is his own want to be better and higher then anything and everyone else around him" I said causing him to look almost ashamed.

REJECTED MATE

REJECTED MATE

“This heist is a practice run for the vengeance I wish to take against my aunt and uncle who run the First Faction.” He was talking about Isis and Osiris, whose part of Hell governed all the souls that had come from Africa. I rose off my seat and walked around the table on trembling legs. Ophois had to be drunk, or high, or impulsive, because this was a lot to ask of one person. Even if we’d spent time together training, and his personality wasn’t terrible, and he made a nice-enough looking human, he was still a god of war who ate people. My mind whirred, trying to think of something that wouldn’t cause him offense.

Veins of Vengeance

Veins of Vengeance

“This house has two rules when it comes to respect, Seraphina.” I swallowed, my palms pressed stiffly in support against the walls. “Let me guess…no lying?” His eyes, a dark shade of hazel, scanned my face like he was impressed with how quick I was catching on. “Correct. And rule two—no running or funny businesses.” “From you?” I said, barely over a whisper, watching as he narrowed his eyes into a glare. He leaned in, his other hand swiping a lock of hair off my cheek as his lips brushed gently against my earlobes, sending a pool of shivers down my spine. “From me. This mansion. From what you agreed to, princessa.”

Hidden By The Gods (Book #2 of Silver Moon Series)

Hidden By The Gods (Book #2 of Silver Moon Series)

Hectate Aphrodite and Dimitri told us about one of the warriors and his daughter within the pack and how he resembled Dominick and himself greatly. We were all shocked, and when they showed us what they looked like, I could see Dominick in both of them. I was the only one to remember what we had planned and what really happened that day. I had kept my word and not told anyone, but every now and then, Hephaestus would look at me like he was trying to remember something important. Lillyana told me that the spell would never wear off, but I wonder if that is not true for us gods. I guess time will tell. I decided to do a bit of research on my own to see if I could figure out anything abou

The werewolf spell, the gateway to hell

The werewolf spell, the gateway to hell

I asked with a small smile. I was finally getting what was happening. Hades had four aspects. Four parts of him that he could choose to divide I to if he wanted. They were arrogance, lies, apathy and hedonism. This were major characters Hades possessed, and they were all here now. "And why are my other mates quiet? This isn't our first meeting" I added, referring to the other three. I was guessing the first one was arrogance, he did behave it. Full of himself and proud.

Everyday For The Thief: A Chaotic and Poetic Mafia Romance

“What did you see? What did you find?” “He is here,” Hades said, his voice a simple, brutal statement of fact. “And he is waiting. He has set up his web. He has men everywhere. He has his fortress. He has his operations. He thinks he has the upper hand. He thinks he has us trapped. He thinks this is a game of chess. He thinks he’s playing with pawns and knights.” “And what is he really playing with?” Viktor asked, his eyes gleaming.
