A Slave to the Kings

A Slave to the Kings

"Now they're leaves in the wind, with a touch of humidity... As if they were leaves blown by the winds of a storm that's brewing." "Yours have changed too, they still look like a field of flowers, but this time, the flower that catches my eye the most is almost forgotten... I had to look in my archives and also in my safe... It was very difficult, as I only have a single seed that hasn't bloomed." Ghost replied, approaching me. "The flower is called the Flames of Hephaestus. They say they were created from the sparks of God's hammer when it meets the anvil." I turned my face towards Lycan, curious about the information.

Caught Between Two Lovers

Caught Between Two Lovers

Just as he was about to take a sip, Hela appeared behind Ares with her hands on her hips. "Big broooooo!!!! Is Big Bro taking Grey out for drinks again?!" ** Grey entered the Zeus—Corp building. The name Zeus was a joke created by Ares based on his and Hela's characters. According to Ares, he was the god of war, and Hela was the mother of the gods, so it was fitting for his company to have the name of the king of gods.

The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

“I guess. So long as we both remain alert I see no problem in giving you some answers now.” “Well okay then. Firstly, where exactly are we? I’m guessing that its the standard we’re not on Earth anymore situation?” “That guess would be correct. We are, hopefully, somewhere in the Kingdom of Everaya in the Realm known as Hephaestia.” “Hephaestia? Would that be any relation to the Greek god Hephaestus?” “Well look who is smarter than she looks. You are correct. The god Hephaestus created this realm. All realms are created by a god, the humans from your realm managed to get at least that correct.”

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

Hephaestus swiftly reverted to his business self, and Atlas nodded his head in assent. "As expected of the god of the forge. It didn't even take him a second to realise what I was here for." Atlas thought silently while admiring Hephaestus. In the entire True Universe, there were many Master Craftsmen, and Nidavellir boasted the greatest population of them. It was Asgard's greatest pride, and the source of their legendary weaponry. However, Asgard fell short in one section: they didn't possess a god of forgery. In fact, in the entire True Universe, there was only one god of the forge; and he belonged to Olympus. Hephaestus was the only god of forgery in the entire True Universe! Meeting him

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Raised By Gods

Raised By Gods

Hades explained. “Why do I know that name?” I said and thought for a moment. “The Father of All Monsters?!” “Don’t you call him that!!” My mother yelled at me. I flinched and turned to see her walking towards us. “That’s what the history and Myth books called him.” I said defending myself. “Well, that’s a bunch of bullshit.” She said. “Isn’t he the dad to some Mythical monsters though?” I asked. “He is the father of Cerberus.” Hades pointed out.

The Captured Rebel Is The President's Pair

The Captured Rebel Is The President's Pair

He was not surrounded by his fire this time, though the heat his body let out made the water from all around him evaporate, there was a thin layer of air enveloping him, Cetus concluded that Hephaestus was only being respectful this way. He looked like a human. If it wasn’t for his brilliant red eyes and the waves of power that flowed from all around him. “Thank you for having me,” Hephaestus said, as if he had been formally invited. As if sending his daughter underground was not one of the hardest things Cetus ever had to go through in his entire immortal life. “…Thank you for coming all the way up, and thank you for caring about my daughter,” That was a blunt lie, Cetus was only paying due

The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

But the Goddess Aphrodite is a version of the mythology. As a goddess of love, there is something quite interesting about Dewi Aphrodite, especially about the story of love and betrayal that she experienced. This story is one of the stories that is quite busy being discussed by fans of Greek mythology. • Betrayal of His Spouse. It is known that the Goddess Aphrodite married Hephaestus who is the God of Metallurgy and Fire. But in terms of appearance, Hephaestus is often considered the ugliest of the 12 Gods of Olympus. Abnormals: Rise of Kronos

Abnormals: Rise of Kronos

“ I remember when her newborn son was stolen in the middle of the night. Hera’s fury was fierce; many settlements were burnt down in her anger.” “ Too bad that was all a sham to hide the truth!” Akki exclaimed. “ Queen Hera’s firstborn son was named Hephaestus. And he was a Half-Breed!” Kronos raised an eyebrow. “ How could that be possible? King Zeus is a Pure-Blood.” “ Oh, those two have never been faithful to each other. They both have had many bastards; of course, they kill them once they’re born.” “ Uh-huh. And how do you know this?” Kronos asked, unconvinced. “ Why would Hera keep you alive if this was the truth?”

Frequently Asked Questions

Hephaestus is one of those Greek gods who doesn’t get enough spotlight, but his story is absolutely fascinating. He’s the god of fire, blacksmiths, craftsmen, and volcanoes, which already makes him stand out in the pantheon. Unlike the typical idealized Olympians, Hephaestus is often depicted as lame or deformed, adding a layer of complexity to his character. His parents, Hera and Zeus, threw him off Mount Olympus because of his disability, but he clawed his way back through sheer skill—his craftsmanship was so unparalleled that the gods couldn’ignore him. He forged weapons for heroes like Achilles (those iconic 'Iliad' moments!) and even created Pandora, the first woman. There’s something deeply human about his resilience and creativity, despite being rejected by his own family. Plus, his marriage to Aphrodite, goddess of beauty, is this ironic, tragicomic twist—she’s constantly unfaithful, and he responds with clever traps. It’s like a divine soap opera!

What really gets me about Hephaestus is how he embodies the outsider’s triumph. He’s not the handsome, charismatic type like Apollo or Zeus, but his ingenuity makes him indispensable. His workshops under volcanoes, where he’s said to work with cyclopes, feel like this mystical blend of industry and magic. And let’s not forget his automata—mythical robots! The guy basically invented AI before it was cool. Whenever I read about him, I imagine the clang of his hammer, shaping destiny itself. His myths resonate because they’re about turning weakness into strength, and that’s timeless.
