My voice cut through the hum of the mana-vein. The faceless student turned with a jerky mechanical motion. It didn't speak, but a low guttural vibration shook the floorboards beneath my boots. I didn't wait for it to lunge. Snapped my wrist, Winter Wand sliding into my palm. "Impulsus Vacui! Comprimo!" I roared, sending a wave of concentrated gravity toward the center of its mass. As Susan finished chanting the library motto, the lectern made a sound of thousands of book's pages being flipped at the same time, and books started to appear in the empty places of the bookshelves. "Oh… There are some books behind 'ok ish' wards." Susan murmured and pumped magic into the lectern.

She whispered in Latin, “Ignis formam (Form of fire).” Her tone was playful yet focused, and as she spread her hands, the air around her seemed to shimmer. The pack watched intently, unaware of what was about to happen. Zyra continued to murmur the spell, her eyes still closed, her hands moving gracefully as if conducting an invisible orchestra. Unbeknownst to Zyra, a small flame began to dance above her palms. It grew brighter and more vibrant with each passing second. She swirled her hands, still focused on the spell, and took a snap with her fingers.
