Zoe's POV "Speculum magicae plenum excantatum, ostende mihi unum ex altera parte," I chanted after I had dropped a droplet of my blood on the back of the silver embossed hand mirror. Instantly the mirror started moving as if I had poured water on it and started rippling in circles. While it did its magic, I had a thought, "Dahlia?" 'Uhuh,' She called out watching the mirror with more attention than me.

Inside, the tower was a labyrinth of corridors and chambers, each filled with ancient artifacts and arcane symbols. In one chamber, we found a large, ornate mirror framed in gold. Its surface shimmered with a strange, otherworldly light. As we approached, the mirror began to show visions—snapshots of possible futures, some dark and ominous, others filled with hope and triumph. We realized that the mirror was showing us potential outcomes of our quest, depending on the choices we made and the paths we took. It was both a guide and a test, forcing us to confront the consequences of our actions.

I did have some fear for her because she was dangerous and unpredictable but I was going to put my fear for her aside and face her one on one. “Hermione! The pendant!” She demanded and I swallowed hard. Her voice was deep and husky, curtesy of the black smelly smoke. I moved away from her while she continued to inch forward. The stench released by the dark clouds was making me very dizzy to the point of losing my sight.

I need a little help here. The map glows for a moment, points toward the bed, and then goes blank again. I walk over to the bed. I pull back the covers and look under the pillows, but nothing.
