Morrigan scribbled on a parchment laid in front of her as the back of her tutor face her, reciting to her about the history of Hymir. Her eyes are drooping down as she fights the urge to sleep and could only sigh silently as she keeps her yawn down.

Max’s POV I had one hell of a day. I was sore, but nothing that the sweet Minerva Jones cannot fix. She whipped me up something from her little portable drawer like bag of potions and dropped a few of it’s yellow content in my tea. She reminded me of professor Snape from my favorite sequel, Harry Potter. The only difference was, miss Minerva was a happy soul. Snape was grumpy.

I answer her nervously. "Wow, it's beautiful. You're so pretty." She says with a cute smile showing off her dimples. "Hi I'm Lexi..." She reaches her arm out and I grab it giving her a handshake. "Are you new here?" She asks. "Yes I am.. I'm Morgana.." I say to her with a light smile. "Oh, Well, welcome to Baxton High. The best high school in town. You made a good choice coming here. We have the best food and the best teachers and the best boys too..." She says with a grin showing off her perfectly white teeth.

This swine told you that? "She's definitely delusional." "I would never send her to a horrid place like the isle of thorns." She snickered. "She's right your majesty, my mom would never do that, she's the nicest being on earth, with a heart of gold." Amelia said in her mother's defense. Her face had turned pale when she saw me in Derrick's arms. "Our queen is a wonderful person your majesty." "Gwen is a known liar, our queen would never send her on such a dangerous quest." Morgana who had been static all along chipped in. "I read minds too." Derrick reminded them. They all turned pale with fear. "Consider this a warning, don't touch a hair on Gwen's head." He warned the flustered wolves.

He left and I was left here alone. I just sighed and started washing the dishes in the sink. After I washed, I sat down to rest for a while. I took my cell phone out of my pocket and checked what was on the messenger, suddenly this group chat of ours popped up on messenger. Even though several years have passed, this group chat of ours in high school is still very much alive. I guess they are talking about me again. Well, I'm popular in our group chat, I think I'm the number one topic here and even our teacher is talking about me too. Amazing, right?

Catherine was running late for her class when she passes by the dance hall and hearing the unnamed professor say something about the auditions. There, Catherine already knew that it was Lyra who’d been receiving this unnecessary lecture, so she gathered all her guts, took a deep breath and pushed the door open, entering the dance hall. Everyone in the class looked at her with their eyes widened, including Brittany, who was looking at Catherine with flirting eyes, Lyra, whose eyebrows were furrowed and nearly in tears, and the instructor with a confused expression plastered on his face.

They were all screaming Elspeth's name. Silently I stood up from where she attacked me. She has no knowledge that I blocked her attack. I sighed and removed the waterfall braids onto my hair before I break their fun. "Silence!" I screamed loud, and with one word, what I wanted was then granted. Pure silence covered the place as I ascend, glowing because of my aura. I held my head high and turned my gaze to the demons around me. With a glare, one by one they went down onto their knees. "I am Veronica Vane. I am your one and only true Queen and Herald. No impostor can bring me down to the ground."
