Arial was in a fine temper by the time they got home. As the car pulled into the garage and their rugrats ran out the door to greet them, Connor could almost see the steam coming out of his mate's ears. Hell hath no fury like Arial Salvatore when she felt betrayed. And right now, he was sure Satan himself was hiding in fear of her wrath.

Arial managed to hold onto her viper tongue until the pack member she'd wrangled into babysitting settled the boys down to sleep and shut the door behind her as she left for the short run back to the packhouse.
