Following the instinct awakened by the ancient dragon, I drew in a massive breath of the scorching abyssal air mixed with the primordial blood in the water. The energy rushed into the empty space in my chest, swirling violently before condensing, hardening, and igniting. A brand-new, indestructible source of power flared to life within my frame—the very first core of dragon flame.

“You are so beautiful, dark dragon,” Madchen reached her arms around his neck, never wavering her gaze. “As are you, Madchen, and I love you,” Drago crashed his lips onto hers, searing her mouth with his passion.Black wings erupted from his back, engulfing Madchen in a cocoon of protection. He didn’t care that he was standing stark naked in front of his gathering family, all he cared about was that Madchen accepted him for what he was, a dragon who had found his mate.

Alaric stood up instantly. His eyes revealed his shock as he turned to Mariah and grabbed her hand. “Mariah,” he called, his voice shaky, “is it true? Do you carry an egg?” “Huh?” Mariah and Asher asked at the same time. “What do you mean, egg?” Asher asked. “We dragons lay eggs,” Helios answered. “Huh?” Asher and Mariah asked again, sharing a look with each other and turning to the people with them.

It did little to diminish the strength of the fire dragons though and the war endured for centuries more. "The end finally came with the discovery of cold iron, and the death of Kandra Black―the first queen of dragons and mate to the goddess Zahra." "Woah that sounds intense. Kemy Golden Dragons: the strongest amongst all the monumental reptilians that dared to gain the skies. We had an empire, and now we only have each other. Once upon a time, we were thousands, but now there are only seven of us. Our population was wiped out in a treacherous war.
