Mafia's Marriage Contract

Mafia's Marriage Contract

“I’ll go and get it.” “You’re f*cking useless!” Hector snarls. “I’ll go and get it!” “I’ll come with you.” She meekly follows him downstairs. Troy is probably asleep in his room and Amelia is of no threat to them. Hector signals Elle to be quiet as they make their way downstairs. He heads for the key holder while Elle lingers behind. Hector is searching for the keys but unbeknownst to him, Elle is taking out a pair of gloves from her pocket. Putting on the gloves, she looks around until she finds a metallic statue of Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess.

I usually don’t read mafia type stories but I thought I’d give this a go since I love the writers fantasy books. This book has a very interesting twist on the Cinderella story. It’s intriguing and it leaves you wanting more! Can’t wait to see how it plays out!

Demon Kings Mate

Demon Kings Mate

But Lukas told me there is only one mate for everyone. "Hi, I don't think we've met before" I croaked, awkwardly waving at her. The Greek Goddess warmly smiled, her eyes shifting towards my stomach. Hestia is the virgin goddess of the hearth, the right ordering of domesticity, the family, the home, and the state. So it was natural she would find out about my pregnancy. But she didn't make a move to touch my stomach or anything which I felt relieved at. "Congratulations Queen" "Oh, thank you."

I love the book so far. I just got to the chinese princess of chinese hell. For the bar scene, I wish she had done something like the following... Could I get some late 20th century catholic communion wine? Pre-blessed, of course, this is hell after all. Ordering grape juice in front of daemons...

The Final Reconciliation

The Final Reconciliation

We were silent throughout Camilla’s tour of her not-so-humble abode, but when we saw that ungodly statue, Hank broke that silence in the only way he could. “What in the actual fuck is that?” Camilla beamed, prancing across the living room toward the statue. She ran her fingers along its chest and looked back at us. “I commissioned this piece. Isn’t he beautiful? Our King Hastur, frozen at the moment of his unmasking.” Bobby and me, we sort of mumbled our approval to be polite, but Hank just stared at it slack-jawed. “That is the god-awfulest thing I’ve ever seen, darlin’, and I’ve seen some shit.”

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

Klay stands next to Milo, watching Leticia with starry eyes. Heph motions to his side for me to stand and begins his speech. “My name is Hephaestus. God of Fire and Technology. I’m here today in endorsement of the Goddess Iokaste Mason and in defiance of certain Gods on Mount Olympus. I would like to tell everyone this is going to be a joyous occasion, and it is, but based on recent events, I want to warn you that as we move through the ceremony, Zeus himself may show his disapproval of your Luna’s ascension to Luna of the Menae. It matters not. When she has completed the ceremony, no one can take the honor away from her.”

Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

Compilation Of Short Stories

Compilation Of Short Stories

It grew heavy, heavy, with the smell of ozone and rich, oxidized soil. She knew it was Hades. Not Pluto, not Dis Pater. This was the older, more austere god, the one who governed through silence rather than a bellow, but through an unbreakable oath. The statue was simple, gigantic. It presented him not as a frightening commander but as a man in the prime of his power, sitting, a helm at an angle under one arm, his face not cruel but very piercing. And his eyes, shards of obsidian, shone with a radiance that consumed the very light of the lab and reflected back only an impossible depth.

Hades |Lesbian Version|

Hades |Lesbian Version|

Then they began to gather around the two goddesses, greeting them with warm words. "Demeter, my dear sister, welcome back home!" one of the goddesses spoke. Her mother bowed to her. Persephone recognized the kind-looking woman as Hestia, the oldest sister of the Olympians. She was dressed in a simple dress and her throne was a plain wooden throne with a white woolen cushion. Although there were twelve gods, Persephone could only see eleven thrones in the room. Zeus rose from his seat and came towards her. His smile was dazzling and kind. His eyes were the color of the sky. He took her delicate hand in his and kissed it. Persephone greeted her father back with a bow.

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

She wore a simple, charcoal-grey suit and carried a small, pulsating amber cube. "Alpha Rhea. Apex Elias," the woman said. Her voice was calm, but it lacked the artificial warmth of Chancellor Valerius. "I am Hestia. I am not here for an audit, a harvest, or a treaty. I am here to deliver a 'Notice of Obsolescence.'" "More Council riddles?" Rhea asked, her hand dropping to the hilt of her dagger.

Cursed by the Gods: Rise of Phoenix

Cursed by the Gods: Rise of Phoenix

And among all of these were the priests who were taking the offerings and sacrifices of the people there to worship. There was a very huge statue of him in addition to the several other statues that stood alongside the golden columns. He feared looking at it for long to avoid drawing attention to himself. Helena was already making her way toward one of his statues and he hurried to join her. The statue was relatively huge and it depicted an image of him with his arms raised from his fingertips the sculptor had made what looked like thunderbolts appear. His knees were bent as though he was in pursuit of something and his eyes blazed. All in all, he had to agree that the sculpture was a very i

Golden Butterfly
This book is awesome! And I love how strong Tamara is. She doesn’t put up with anyone’s bull shit and she’s not a spineless female. James is dumb but I absolutely love Kane and Dorian. I can’t wait to see the end! Good job author!!

The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

Jasper “What is it?” I enquired and she gave me a playful smile. “A simple one to see if you could be considered worthy by our Goddess.” I looked behind her and at the tall imposing statue of a Goddess that loomed over us, her head almost touching the ceiling. She had the face of a phoenix and the body of a woman. The statue seemed to look down at us, the sharp angular eyes that seemed to emit some powerful fire beams and burn down whoever dared to displease her.

I absolutely love this book. All the twists and turns were so worth the wait. I’m so glad that Celia and Jasper both received what they truly wanted. I would also love to read more about their life after marriage and kids.
Maxine Torres
